On 6-8-2021 Contact them about a problem with my sprinklers. Stayed wet around them like constant leaking. Thye came by said they could fix them. They returned and di by adding valves and filters and lowering all 3 heads. The one in back continued to still leak bad and it was impossible to get the lad dry enough to mow the grass or walk by them. I made a call and he said by phone he had a new way to fix them that only his company does. He sent a new "Proposal". I paid him $261.68 to fix the problem. Now he wants to charge me $250.56 to fix the problem I hired him to fix.

      ***** ****** * ****** Response:

Customer: On 6-8-2021 Contact them about a problem with my sprinklers. Stayed wet around them like constant leaking. Thye [sic] came by said they could fix them. They returned and di [sic] by adding valves and filters and lowering all 3 heads.

***** ****** * ******: We inspected the sprinklers and determined the sprinklers were siphoning after the pump stopped. We installed a device from ******** to prevent this siphoning and tested the sprinklers. No evidence of siphoning was present. The customer requested the sprinklers to be lowered to grade. Lowering the sprinklers was not related to the leaking problem.

10-28-2021 the customer called to have their septic tanks pumped out. No mention of any problems with the sprinklers at that time. If the problem was not fixed why did the customer call us out to do additional work?

Customer: I made a call and he said by phone he had a new way to fix them that only his company does.

***** ****** * ******: 2-16-2022 the customer called about 1 sprinkler leaking in the back yard. We proposed installing a vacuum breaker in the pump discharge line to break the siphoning. This is not something only our company can install. The customer did not approve the proposal, so we did not schedule the work.

Customer: I paid him $261.68 to fix the problem. Now he wants to charge me $250.56 to fix the problem I hired him to fix.

***** ****** * ******: This is the breakdown of the original charges:

      $95.00 service call

      $3.98 Sprinkler flow preventer

The majority of the $261.68 was labor to lower the sprinkler heads to grade (the customer requested this work). We also serviced the air compressor with new filters and O-rings. Both were unrelated to the leaking sprinkler head.

7-11-2022 ***** ****** * ****** received the BBB complaint and called the customer to resolve it. The customer gave permission to come out and inspect the septic system. We found the 1 sprinkler that was leaking had not been maintained by the customer and the sprinkler body was full of mud, leaves and grass clippings. This prevented the pop-up sprinkler from lowering and seating off preventing the water leakage. We installed a new sprinkler, and it did not leak. The leaking was not related to the original work to fix the leaking sprinklers but was due to the sprinkler being full of debris. ***** ****** * ****** was not responsible for the damaged sprinkler head.
