7/5/24 The was tow on 7/5/24 from and in front of Gulf Side ********************* ***************************** ***********, ********. The driveshaft was disconnected and not put back together. Tire also had a hole in it that was not there before. I feel like the truck was sabotage.

Bridge *********** called Gilbeaux's Towing out to the busy intersection of ********* (Hwy 87) and Roundbunch for a disabled 18 ******* truck and trailer blocking the roadway.  Upon arrival instead of towing we assisted the customer with trying to start the ********************** but had no success.  We called a mechanic to remove the drive shaft but due to poor maintenance the driveshaft could not be removed for towing.  Once this was established the only way to remove the truck and trailer from the busy roadway was to separate the truck and trailer. The truck was towed from the rear and a second truck was used to tow the trailer.  This truck was towed directly to the mechanic facility for repairs.  After sitting in the mechanics bay for over a week (customer did not want to repair) another ******************** company removed the truck from the mechanics facility.  We have no affiliation or ownership with the mechanic shop.  The drive shaft was never removed by us and the tire was not damaged, this truck was towed with the driver present and riding with us straight to the mechanic shop.  We were told by the mechanic shop poor maintenance caused the vehicle to break down (damaged engine). I witnessed the customer put 2.5 gallons of oil in the ********************** and it was still showing to be low on the dipstick. Some of the tires were low on air and the air system was full of moisture.  A daily walk around must be done on any commercial vehicle by law and this had not been done on this particular truck in quite a while.  We always inspect vehicles before towing and upon inspection of this vehicle we realized proper maintenance was not being done.  I feel like we did an excellent job and we definitely did not damage the truck or sabotage the truck (driver present the whole time). Me sabotaging a vehicle would not make sense because I do not repair vehicles and I do not sell tires.
