I submitted a form looking for information regarding apartments. Ben emailed back stating that he could help me find an apartment. He said they work with a company that helps you find a place even if you have evictions or broken leases. He said there was a $40 referral fee. I asked him a few questions regarding the process and he assured me this company would help. It took 3 times for him to send a correct invoice but I paid it. An hour later he sends a list of links and says for me to complete an app and the company will contact me. Well this list is bogus. I could have Googled these co-signer companies. Some of them don’t even help with apts in Houston and you have to apply first and get denied before using some of these services. I email him back asking for a contact at the company he referred me to because I didn’t understand the process. He never responded. After a couple of hours, I call the number listed and a lady picks up. When I first asked for him she acted as if she didn’t know who I was asking about. She then claimed that Ben normally refers people to them and they help. I told her that I was confused about the process and needed Ben to return my call or email about this. I never heard from Ben. Then they sent me an email saying the invoice was overdue after I had paid. They are frauds and scammers. Ben lied about what the referral fee actually paid for and then ghosted me. I want my money back and they should be shut down for the scams they are running.Initial Complaint

I signed up for their services under false pretenses. they do not answer their phones or respond to voice mails when i have left them several messages to respond to. i have also sent emails to a gentleman named "Ben". ben@secondchancelocators.com. he doesn't respond to emails eitherInitial Complaint

A ben@secondchancelocators.com keep emailing about a 50$ fee.When I already paid my 50$ fee on 06/27/22.Haven’t heard anything back regarding them helping me locate a apartment.And received a email from a Amy Walker saying another 19.99 fee is due paid a extra 20$ haven’t heard from her since
