I initially contacted Bradley Landscaping on 2/29/24. On 3/11/24, agreed to proceed and mailed him the check 3/18 for first item in the scope of work. The fence was started 4/4 and completed 4/7. Agreed on the phone for 8K but did not specify that in contract so I am okay leaving as-is for 9k. Issue: On April 9th, 2024 I wrote a check for the start of the second scope of work (side pathway) for $5400 as agreed upon so his contractors could buy supplies and start the work on 4/15/24 which he did not. He recommitted to starting week of 5/20/24 which again did not happen. Since then, accounting for the rain that we received, he has been non-responsive by phone and by text he deflected by saying he would call me back. I am seeking resolution by having the ***** reimbursed for work he has not started. Never did he state that they had bought the supplies so I do not want any deduction for such.I am attaching both the contract and a word document with screenshots of texts clearly delineating above as well as the number of times I tried to reach him by phone.Initial Complaint

In February we spoke to Bradley Snowdon of Bradley landscaping. He contracted with us to redo our sprinkler system, landscape the yard with *****, trees, flowers etc. the cost would be above $70,000. He promised our sprinklers were fixed and the drip system was working so he put down grass in the front yard. The sprinkler timer never worked. ***** began to die and repeated requests for him to come and speak with us were refused. His fireman said it was taken care of and not to worry about the sprinklers. The yard was stripped. Their efforts to kill existing grass killed a. Dry large magnolia tree. We had leaks in our wall from the system not being turned off at the bottom of the street. We received a citation from SAWS and were asked to appear in court. Bradley didnt arrange a bypass for permission to treat new landscape as he said he had. Subsequently, we found out that isnt possible. We found that he had cut the lines to all our landscape lighting and destroyed many sprinkler pipes. Everything died. We had another company come out to check the work and they said they had never seen anything like this and from the look of the Sod, he had brought in dead grass. We fired him, asked for our money back and he sent an invoice saying that with grass (dead at installation) and labor, he was charging $60,000.00 and he refused to return any portion of it. My husband and I are on a fixed income. We took a loan to do this and our yard is all dirt, mud, dead grass, dead trees and cut landscape lighting lying around.
