In July of 2023, I noticed a red 1974 CJ-5 Jeep advertised
on the internet of sale for $9,000.00, so I contacted the seller, leaving an
Email message that I was interested in buying this particular Jeep.
I was contacted shortly thereafter by a person calling
himself Eric ***** from Atom Rides, **** ********** ****, ***** Texas, and
after talking with Mr ***** about the Jeep (Vin **************) and learning
that the Jeep was
"still available", I agreed to purchase it for the
advertised price of $9,000.00.
Mr. ***** sent a sales agreement to my Email account, a copy
of which will be enclosed with the paperwork being sent to you, that I signed,
electronically and returned, after making a copy of the agreement for my
records.
I agreed to have a wire transfer made to Atomrides the
following week from my bank account (********** ***** ***** **** ******, WI)
and transmitted to the Wells Fargo Bank in Plano Texas, that Mr. ***** had
supplied a routing number to,
*********, and an account number, **********, for.
This wire transfer took Place on July 21, 2023, and delivery
of the Jeep was to be made within two (2) weeks. When that time frame
passed, and the promised Jeep had not arrived, I attempted to contact Mr. ***** on three (3) separate
occasions, all to no avail. Further, all of my
computer records and communications with Mr. ***** that I had kept stored on my
Gmail account, except those that I had transferred to a separate drive, were
wiped from my account by someone other than myself from an outside source.
It must be noted here, that I have recently seen, on several
occasions, the same Jeep that I was attempting to purchase, being offered again
for sale from the same seller, and that I have also found out that at the time
I was trying to purchase
this Jeep, that it had already been sold by the true owner.
I have contacted the Plano Police Department (report
#**********, that was taken by PSO ******) I have also filed complaints
with the F.B.I., the Beloit Police Department, and the Wisconsin Department of
Agriculture.
First and foremost, I want/need my money returned from
either Atomrides., LLC/Cars Xplore, LLC or from Wells Fargo Bank, who are
complicit in his scam due to the fact that they acted as the
"middle-man" for Atomrides LLC/Cars Xplore, LLC by
handling the money, and the fact that Wells Fargo Banks is
obligated to protect the public and prevent this type of theft, by doing a
background check where this type of scam might occur, and failed in doing so on
all counts.
Further, along with the return of my money, at this point, I
also want an additional $2,000.00 for all the pain and suffering I have gone
through to get my money returned plus and not limited to: all attorney fees,
time lost, copying charges, fax charges, and
interest lost.
I hope that this information will be of help in getting
started.
Sincerely;
***** **********
