I FILED A COMPLIANT WITH THE BBB IN 2023. WHY DID YOU REMOVE IT? I NEED IT.The owner of this company, ****** *****, was riding thru our neighborhood soliciting business in 2022. We had a roofer we'd used years ago, planned to us him. ****** claimed that he was a preferred USAA roofer. We chose him as we are lifelong **** MEMBERS. I found out later my adjuster did not show where he went through the process for preferred contractors.We paid him our deductible of $10,040 no questions asked. Later paid him over $12,000+. He would always collect money before he did the work and when he did there was always an excuse about somebody being sick in his family or product not available. He submitted a supplemental claim to for work that was not completed for $13,000+. We decided to wait until he finished the work to pay him this time. I found out that he'd added our garage door damage as part of the hail storm. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM IT WAS NOT. I HAD DAMAGED THAT IN THE ATTIC WHEN I FELL GETTING CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS DOWN.I informed my adjuster about this. His reply was, "If he'll do that to ****, I can only imagine what he's doing to you." I'd made several call to him regarding ******. He informed me that if he wasn't doing the work we had every right to find someone else to do the work. We issued him a final check certified via mail for the sum of $6,511.29 with the list of things that he had completed marked "paid in full final payment for work completed on roofing repair project". The check was returned with the envelope marked "Return to sender. Not deliverable as addressed. Unable to forward" I have pictures of it.He came to our home, beating on our door screaming, cursing, threatening to contact the police and have us locked up We told him to please do so. We should be the ones calling the police. My neighbors came out to see what was going on and said he was trying to get them to let him do other work in addition to roof repair. They were wise.
