Calling me to collect a debt when the people who they are collecting for used someone else's social security numbers to make a sale which is illegal they do not need to contact me in any way shape or form or I will pursue legal actionReview from Valerie G

20 years ago I loaned someone money. Never thought I'd see it. Today I got my money back with this companies help. The guy I loaned money to thought I'd just sign a piece of paper forgiving his debt. I told him to get in touch with the collection agency I hired and now it's done. Very grateful.Review from Eric P

I've been in business 25 years and had an experience of working with them. One thing is to collect professionally on a debt. We dealt with *************************** and I have never seen a greater lack of professionalism. The way he interacts reminds me of the thugs you see in old crime movies in **. Was a horrible experience. I would never hire this company nor recommend them to anyone.Review from Christopher P

They are attempting to collect a debt on a service that I had canceled with the original vendor who had failed to provide services.

We understand how you feel however you will need to file this complaint under the correct company. Your account was placed in collections and we are only attempting to collect on the debt owed. If you file this complaint correctly the client has the right to answer your concerns and even possibly pull the account from collections.Review from Nikki B

After reviewing your call to our office 3/29/2023 you requested that we mail you validation and we did the same day. You haven't received any communication since then. You have an unpaid debt to Safe Streets and we are a collection agency. Our job is to reach out and let you know before it hits your credit we did that as well.Review from Jamica S

They are very rude and disrespectful. They demand payment without telling you why they are calling. They told me to stop wasting their time and money by having them to have to call me. When I asked to explain to me what he was calling about the guy told me he couldn't put it any clearer and maybe he needed to speak Spanish since I evidently didnt understand English. When I called to ask for my receipt he said oh so you don't pay your bill for years and the second it's paid you want a receipt, well how about you get your receipt the same way you paid your bill. I asked for his boss and he said he was the boss. Very unprofessional and need to realize there are better ways to speak to people. I've never been spoken that way by anyone who is supposed to be professionals. Very uneducated in people skills and very unprofessional. The guy that called me was *******************. I spoke on the phone with an hourly employee claiming to be a manager. I could not believe how rude they were, especially since I was calling to make a payment. Then I did a little digging. The president of the company has been jailed for failing to pay to plaintiff that won a Fair Credit lawsuit. He has also been jailed for a myriad of other things. Clearly, there is immature criminal employees from the top all the way to the bottom of this company. I turned over evidence to the company that help the original debt in hopes that they cease doing business with Hillcrest, Davidson, and Associates.
