In late February we went under contract to sell our home, due to close early March. As we got into the closing process, it was found that the title processed at closing when we purchased the home listed a deceased party. Texas Premier Title is the company that processed the closing when we purchased the home. Due to their negligence in removing the deceased previous owner from the title, we have been unable to sell the home at a reasonable timeline. We now have additional interest, PMI, HOA, insurance, etc. fees that we should not have incurred. Texas Premier has been TERRIBLE in communication through this process and is not getting to a resolution quickly. I have had to escalate communication all the way to the president of the company and still am not getting any traction.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/04/21) */ We received notice of the customer's complaint and the local branch was tasked with handling the file. Unfortunately, the steps to remedy the file were complicated, which is in no way Mr. *******'s fault. Mr. ******* contacted Jason R*****, our Vice President of Title, and eventually me, Don T********, concerning the issue. I worked with Jason to ensure the complaint was remedied, which it was. I am not aware of any other requests from Mr. ******* regarding reimbursement for costs he suffered due to the situation, but am willing to discuss those further.
