Blissful Celebrations is an event/wedding planning company. They offer services to help plan and decorate such events. My now wife and I had an initial meeting with them, agreed to services, and paid the amount they charged ($4,194.69 paid in November 2023). Fast forward to the day of our wedding (April 4, 2024), and nothing that gets put together or assembled is what we paid for. The "arch" that we agreed upon is now metal rods and curtains. There are pipe cleaners visible making the whole setup look even tackier than what it does. No one from Blissful Celebrations checked in at the venue or checked out when they had completed their work, so there was no way for us to know what the work was that they had completed. Both my wife and I were getting ready to be married.We had such a terrible experience and cannot get that back considering that it's the only wedding day that we'll ever have. Such a disappointment for both of us. When we reached out to ***** following our wedding, the business owner, she told us she couldn't talk because she was busy with another wedding. We followed up mid-week the following week. ***** called us and proceeded to blame us for the errors. She berated us about not calling her directly when we noticed something was wrong, as if we could pick up our phones while we walk down the aisle to get married. Just a ridiculous response from a business owner with a disappointed customer that paid over $4k. ***** refused to resolve our issue and hung up on us when we asked what recourse she think we take besides writing a poor review or filing a complain with the BBB.At the end of the day, we are miffed. How could someone in this business provide such a poor experience for their customer on such an important day and not offer any consolation? It's beyond our comprehension and we're just flat out disappointed that we have to live with this feeling and they get to continue operating their business poorly.
