On 6/28/23, I towed my '03 Mach I to Y2 for repairs. The engine has a knock which, ****************** (owner), confirmed it wasn't a spun rod bearing via email on 6/12/23. He suggested a timing chain replacement on 8/17/23. I paid $1,119.50 on 8/23/23. ******, claimed my car was complete and ready, on 10/4/23. The engine still had a knock when I arrived, and it was not ready for pickup.I expressed myself about paying for a repair that didn't fix the knock. He then agreed to use the $1,119.50 towards the future repairs needed to fix the knock. ******, also made several other promises on FB/email messages and during our in person interactions.Some promises I've been given are: 12 mo/12K mi warranty on labor & parts; oil changes to be completed by Y2 each 3K mi during warranty period Final Inv/Contract to be drafted by ******'s legal representation ****** will supply bearings, ************* pump for the repair ****** will inspect my car's fuel tank for rust & allow me to inspect it also My vehicle has remained outside the shop, for 9+ months, with a large exposed hole on the hood since Y2 removed the hood scoop. The hole exposes engine/electrical components to mother nature. The car itself is vulnerable to naturally occurring hail and paint/body damage events. I recorded my car left unlocked/unattended at his shop, with the keys left in the ignition on one instance. ******'s care standards on my car are unacceptable, and it has been this way since my 1st rebuild in 2020. In 2020, my car sat outside for 12+ months and it took 20+ months to finish. I received my vehicle back with a rusted fuel tank that was fixed by HPP Racing (Competitor). I purchased brand new pistons which have remained unopened at his shop since 2/9/24. ******, has alleged that the car would be complete at EOM since March, and he dishonestly claims that he will call/text me to confirm the *** (last claim made 5/6/24). I will pursue other legal remedies if we do not reach a timely resolution.Business response

We are a specialized shop and extremely busy, his car is in progress. Sorry our schedule noted as approx time due to other builds that can take longer than planned. It is being worked on and he has been notified as it progresses with updates.

I am rejecting this response because: I have been given the same response and excuse for 12 months. If the vehicle is not delivered to me, by 6/7/24, I will have, ****** Eagle, the sole owner of, Y2 Performance D.B.A "Y2 Racing", served with a subpoena. All of the undelivered promises given by ****** Eagle have been retained.Customer response

Y2 was paid for a engine build. Initial deposit made 12/2021 of $6000, full payment of $11300 done 4 weeks late. Finally was told car was done and ciould pick up 9/22/2023. Car has paint damage, engine is not complete, not new parts, no build sheets or pictures, y2 asked for the car back to finish. But after having the car so long i said no. The car could go to a paint and nechanic shop of my choice and y2 could pay the bill. Have not heard from them to resolve this. Have also filed a complaint with the assistant d a of *****.
