They replaced our roof on our home after hailstorm, we never had any leaking with our old roof. After the roof was replaced by suburban roofing, we have had many leaks! They have been to see and fix leaks in the first year over 5 times with many leaks that we have had, Roof still is leaking in spots and we have inside damage from them, plus mold and ceiling damage, when we call and talk to the owner, he tells us his son will come and look at roof and see what needs to be done, he never comes and now they won't answer our calls. I would have been better off keeping my old roof with no leaks then having this company roof our home for over 13,000 plus extra for other things they did, this is the third roof we have had put on this house with no problems! They give a five-year warranty that really doesn't mean much, i think they may have subcontracted it out to someone else because the also did my Mother's home and she had no problems!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/28) */ We installed the roof in 2016 and Yes their were a few issues around the flat roof area that we addressed and has been fixed to my knowledge. The other area that the homeowner is speaking about is around the chimney. I have had people go out and try to seal the siding on the chimney, even though we this was not part of our contract with them.As you can see in the pictures the chimney is worn out on the top cap as well as the corners. The leaks are a part of the rotted fireplace. We have been out and checked the work that was done around the chimney by us and it is more of a maintenance issue with the old chimney not being kept up. We did however tell the homeowner this and also tried to seal the chimney areas that were not our responsibility and did not charge the homeowner. We did tell them that they needed to get this area replaced, but they have not done it. Just because they have a leak around the chimney does not mean it is the roof, especially when you see the condition of the chimney that has not been maintained by the homeowner. Maintenance is something that has to be done on a house all the time. It is unrealistic that the homeowner is not willing to take care of their house and want us to fix something that we did not do. I have enclosed pictures of the chimney as well as more damage that has occurred on the roof since we installed it in 2016. Their has been many storms in that area and hail, wind and flying debris has done damage to the roof in these storms as well. I have pictures from 2020 as well as 2022 when we went to look at the areas of concern from the homeowner. The issues that are happening are from a neglected chimney. Fix the chimney and the leaks will stop as long as they don't mess up the flashing that was done around the chimney
