I have a general contractor that was supposed to remodel. My shower told me it would take 10 days. It is now been 17 days we are still not done. The glass for the shower has not been installed and theres been several times it was to be installed and has not due to the fact he brings up excuse after excuse even though hes told me in the past that he already had the glass, or it was chipped and he had to re-order it and now he has it and he has an excuse all the time for not coming into install it and we are now to the point of he doesnt have the hardware to install it and hes been paid all it was left and he told me that he would get it installed paid in full on last Friday and we are now to Wednesday and still not installed. I dont know what else to do. Hes not been a very honest contractor all the way through always want me to pay him by check strike to his name does not want his business name on the checks told me that I would have to pay half upfront and half when the job was done and I paid more than half upfront and he still would ask for more money throughout the project extremely hard to get a hold of and never shows up when he says hes gonna show up
