On March 5, 2024, I visited Anew You MedSpa about a consultation for hormone replacement therapy. A female employee suggested I have standard bloodwork performed first. Before proceeding with the tests, I explicitly asked her, who is no longer employed at that spa, whether there would be any out-of-pocket expenses. She assured me that my insurance would cover the costs. To further confirm, I asked what would happen if I received a bill. She confidently stated that if I brought the bill to them, it would be taken care of, as it would likely be a billing code error by the lab.Based on her assurances, I proceeded with the bloodwork. However, I recently received a bill exceeding $4,000. Since my insurance deductible is $4,000, I am now responsible for over $1,000 in out-of-pocket expenses. This situation is particularly distressing because I was misled into believing there would be no cost to me based on the information provided by their staff.I feel that I have been subject to deceptive practices and miscommunication, leading to significant financial stress. I relied on the information provided by her in good faith, and had I known the true costs, I would not have consented to the bloodwork. To resolve this issue, I request that Anew You Med Spa honor the commitment made by their former employee and cover the costs that my insurance did not, amounting to over $1,000. I also recommend that the clinic reviews its communication policies to prevent future occurrences of similar issues, ensuring all staff provide accurate information regarding billing and insurance coverage.

I was scammed. I was charged $7000.00 for a sculpting service for my hip dips. I was told it would take about 6 months to see results. It's been a whole year and nothing. One side of my hips is lumpy, my hip dips results have zero positive change. I was told by **************** and two of her staff reps, that there is a difference, oh but I need more injections and that would be an additional cost. **************** also caused an infection on the left side of my face from a lidocaine injection under my lip. She also, botched my upper lip with threading that I didn't even ask for this service.
