PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, **** BEING SCREWED OVER, AND FIND ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY (THIS MESSAGE IS ESPECIALLY PERTINENT FOR SINGLE WOMEN, AS THIS COMPANY APPEARS TO PREY ON THEM)!I am beyond perplexed as to how this lousy organization has such exceptional ****** reviews. I would hate to think that their dishonesty extends to inflating reviews but I would not put it past them at this point. If you want to be totally and completely screwed, have thousands of dollars of household items broken or damaged, and not be reimbursed, then by all means, I would recommend this pathetic company. **** and his gang are cheats, liars, and crooks. Please feel free not to fall for the veteran card like I did. As a fellow veteran, I assumed they were honest folks but I was sadly mistaken. Or maybe they just like to take advantage of single women? Almost every item they touched was damaged, which is mind-blowing to me since the move was beyond simple: I had a few pieces of larger furniture (Ex: 2 bed frames, 1 sofa, 1 accent chair with an ottoman, etc.) and less than 20 totes that required moving 30 minutes across town. When I filed the moving claim, not only did the movers blatantly lie about showing up with the correct moving equipment, but the corporate office refused to reimburse me a respectable amount for the damages, despite taking pictures, completing the proper claims paperwork, and submitting all necessary documentation within the 10-day allotted turnaround time.Arrow Moving & Storage Response

**************** filed her claim on June 20, 2023. She had valuation at $.60/lb. We honored the contract and the amounts she claimed on her claim form except for the lamp. We met her halfway which was more than the $.60/lb. She was also reimbursed for her mattress covers that the crew did not utilize. Not only did we honor the claim, she got reimbursed for the items that were not utilized for her move.Rightfully so.
The offer letter was sent to her on July 25, 2023. She responded and disputed the lamp and mattress cover offers on August 14, 2023. We adjusted the offer letter and resubmitted/emailed it to her on August 15, 2023. The amount she claimed was approximately $485.00.
We never got a response back from her on the new claim offer. She disputed all charges with her credit card company for the entire move and pulled the money back on August 30,2023, per Merchant Chargebacks. Because the money was pulled back for the entire move, we could not complete or process her claim. **************** eventually contacted our office, and we informed her until we receive payment for the move, we couldnt close out her claim. We never heard back from her after that.
We corresponded with her, honored her claim and just needed the release form signed and returned back to us so she could be paid the amount on the offer letter for her claimed items. We were always willing to honor her claim and we have the emails to show proof.Review from Robert P.

*************************, General Manager is either incompetent or an intentional deceiver related to execution of repairs for damages and restoration of personal property. I filed a claim for wall damage incurred by her staff on my brand new home and it has been over 4 months and have only received excuses. ***** refused to separate furniture damages from the home damages on my claim because she doesn't want to work two claims. But this allows her to not reimburse me for the furniture damages until she get the walls fixed. Basically she has used actions for each area to not close out anything. The furniture repairs were at best spotted wood color paint that will flake off in six months and the repair company still missed areas on the footboard after having my bed for over six weeks. The reinbursement for damages to my dresser has not been paid. This has been my worst experience with military moving and this company should be removed for SDDC/ DoD list of vendors. The customer service from ***** is substandard. She even wants me to supply the paint for their repair work on my walls. The total disregard for my personal property shows that Arrow Moving & Storage is shiesty and diminishes the respect Mayflower movers have earned. Totally dissatisfied with this less than one star service. Recommend never dealing with this company.Arrow Moving & Storage Response

I'll try to sum this up in a business appropriate way.Move Date: July 2020 Move Start-End: ***********, ** - ******, ** Move Details: Pack by Arrow M&S, Transport by Mayflower **************** *** Lines (UniGroup)Move Cost: ~ $10,000 Had a full pack of our home in July, destination, Arrow warehouse in ***********. (Not controlled environment but was told it would be) During the storage time, the roof had a major leak and water saturated the wooden creates and our household goods that were stored inside. ***** heat came to *********** and no one was aware of the damage until it was time to transport items to *******. We had mold on several pieces of furniture (entire bedroom set, hope chests, wall mirrors, the list goes on and on). After the assessment, they would not transport the items so it was a total loss Arrow M&S "thought" $1700 was enough compensation for the damages.Next, we scheduled our move dates in advance however when it came time, they could not load because they could not find a truck/driver to deliver our goods. Finally, I was told they "begged" a driver to haul our goods to our residence since now it was 2-3 weeks late. We are in a new house with no furniture....great way to celebrate a brand new home when you can't live in it.When contents arrived, several items were broken which just about set me over the edge. Once I found out I was getting .09 per pound for all the broken things (side chair, $800 floor lamp, gas and charcoal grill wheels, office chair, dishes, etc.) I was "over the edge". Arrow M&S was so generous, they offered a settlement of approximately $1900 for all the damage they caused during the pack and move. What a nice gesture (NOT)!So in closing, customer beware. Make sure you read and understand the valuation portion of the paperwork and do not trust the people at Arrow M&S. They will tell you "we haven't had a claim in forever, you don't need that extra cost." It happens and will happen again. They will never get my business or anyone I know business due to this experience. I will let you draw your own conclusion but you have been warned.Arrow Moving & Storage Response
