On May 8, 2022 I called Lone Star to get help with the air conditioning to my rv because it stopped blowing cool air. The next day the owner ******* and his son ******* showed up. They did a test and said the unit was needed to be replaced and charged me $125.00.I bought a used unit from them for $648.00 and they replaced it on May 11, 2022.About a week passed and water began pouring out of the ceiling. I called and the owner said they may need to put another unit in. He came back out and said it needed some silver thermal tape and applied some.He told me to insulate my rv where some cracks were visible by the slide so the next day I went and purchased insulated foam and did so. About a week later water began pouring out of the ceiling again. He said he thought my ceiling was slanted and came out a little over a week later and changed out the ceiling cover and left. Before leaving he also said his warranty covers 90 days but in my case that didnot apply that he would for sure get the problem corrected.A few days passed and water began pouring in my rv again.I text the issue again, he said he did not know what was wrong and would get back with me. I didn't hear back so I texted and suggested maybe he could get a second opinion, he text back and said he would consult with his personal attorney and get back with me. He's ignored me ever since.Business response

After making several trips out to the customers location for water intrusion from the roof, we replaced the entire ceiling assembly at no cost to the customer we also advised the customer of poor roof conditions and openings to the outdoor elements in the Slideout room causing high humidity and condensation to build. We tested the air conditioner every time we returned for the customers complaints, which were several. We also advised the customer the air conditioner was preforming to factory specifications and the same condition would exist even with a new air conditioner. The customer declined to address the cause of the water intrusion from the roof and the ********** wall openings and demanded a new air conditioner. Ive detailed pictures to show the evidence of roof and ********** conditions Im referred to. Prior to my company replacing the roof top air conditioner with a used air conditioner we warrantied for 90 days from installing the customer was only using a window unit air conditioner and had no rooftop air conditioner working at the time or producing any condensation on the roof.
