My daughter received dental care on October 12, 2022. They charged me $900 out of pocket for anesthesia. They gave me a form to send in to my insurance to receive a reimbursement. I sent in the form but when I contacted my insurance, they said they never received a claim for the anesthesia. I contacted Rodeo Dental and was told the care coordinator would return my call about the issue. I gave it a few weeks and they never called me back. I called again, over a month after the procedure, and they said "these kinds of claims take more time." I called a third time a few days later and no one answered the phone. I finally got ahold of someone the day before Thanksgiving and they told me the claim paperwork needed to be sent in with the form they gave me. I told them I was never told about nor given claim paperwork to send in. They advised they could send it in electronically but that they would get the reimbursement from my insurance and then they would have to refund me and it would take 3 times longer. They said the other option was they could send it in the mail with tracking so I would know when they got it. They did that, I contacted my insurance today to check on it and they said there was an error with the paperwork stating the tax ID number listed didn't match the business name and address. I called Rodeo Dental again to tell them they messed up the paperwork and the office manager I spoke with said the number she has is correct so she would have to inform the billing department. They seem like they are purposefully trying to make this difficult so that I give up. Also, anytime I ask to speak with the "office manager" she is somehow always busy. They are a shady business.
