where do begin? I bought my car in February. for a recall for an oil leak and the alternator because three years ago I had it fix under the warranty Orr Hyundai turned around said I need a starter which cause me 890.0 out of pocket then turn a around week later the car was doing the something not keep a charge, so I had the car tow back to Orr Hyundi so I spoke with ***** in service and did a test on vehicle were find that is was same issue when they fix the car so told ***** to go ahead and fix the so he told amount which was 1450 out he stated that they going repair and put new alternator $610.0, gasket-rocker 445.99 (RTV silicone G 55.06 + 18.56 interstate battery 156.61 battery pad 6.00 total labor 610.00 total parts 682.22 total repair customer 1456.74 this is the kicker I call to let ***** know I was on my way to pick my car up he stated that drive around and everything good with car so **** the service manager was very rude and dismissive threat me if I don't come get my car she going charge 1900 for storage so I came paid 1456.0 for the repair work so as I get in my car I don't make down road not even 2 mile from shop my car broke down again I spoke to ***** again he not sure what was going that he drove it !! so, I had towed the guy that came out to pick my car up he look under the hood to see was it smoking. and i reply said just pick my car shop where they repaired my car. he stated they did anything to call because its oil everywhere then he stated they locked my engine up. so, he bought my car back to shop that same day around 5:00 pm they already gone for that evening. I came in Saturday. to see if they looked at my car. ***** stated they so back up and it's raining. I will be first thing on Monday morning. so, wait to see if would get phone call don't nobody call me so went on my lunchbreak to check on it when I get to service part the service manager **** seen me come in the door, she was on defense, she won't let me get my words out very dismissive. so, i went to her to her boss where i have recording. that mechanic blew my engine. **** told my car is trash and she give me 500 hunderd for my car after that destroyed my engine.Business response

*** ***** has brought her vehicle in numerous time for different concerns. Each time the vehicle concern was address and based on the diagnosis and testing each concern was repaired. For the concerns on 02/16/2024, I visited with *** ***** and explained I was going to try to get the vehicle covered through our Pre Approval process through Hyundai. Unfortunately because of her mileage (172587) and age ( 12.75 years) the PA was declined.
The repair was made for the alternator and rocker gasket replacement. The vehicle was test driven and at the time had no issues. Customer was contacted and there was no response or any arrangements made for pick up. The customer was contacted by our receptionist after a letter for pick up was sent, on the possibility of storage if arrangements could not be made.
When the customer came in and picked up vehicle, she did immediately have vehicle towed back to ORR Hyundai. Upon inspection we found the technician was at fault and we offered to put a motor in *** *****'s vehicle at no cost to her OR refund her money for the last repair plus the value of the vehicle in running condition minus the physical condition of the vehicle. I have attached just a few pictures of the vehicle and condition.
*** ***** stated she would let me know and we have not spoken to her since 4/21/2024.

SIX WEEKS AGO MY 2021 ELANTRA WAS TURNING ON AND OFF WHEN IT WANTED TO. AND WOULD NOT TURN OFF WHN I D TO TURN IT OFF. THE SHOP MANAGER KEEP SAYING THEIR ON ITAND WILL GET IT DONE BUT CANT SAY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS OR THEY CANT FIX IT. THEY HAVE A LOANER CAR PROGRAM, BUT KEEPTELLING ME THEY DONT HAVE ONE FOR ME. HYUNDAI MOTOR USA SAYS RENT A CAR THEY WILL REINBURSE ME, I CANT AFFORD IT. I NEED MY CAR OR WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS . HOW MANY LOANER CARS HAVE WENT OUT SINCE MY CAR BEEN IN THE SHOP AND WHY THEM NOT ME. REPLACE THE CAR IF IT CANT BE FIXED.Initial Complaint

Company advertised on Facebook with a "voucher" program indicating a low down payment and trade paid off no matter what was owed. Company refused to sell me a vehicle and changed the down payment amount from $1 to $1500. They would not pay my vehicle off and when they did have a vehicle to put me in, they told me they sold it at auction even though the vehicle is clearly still being advertised on their website. They have made promises they did not intend on keeping and have falsely advertised. I have records of chat and photos of the advertisements as well.
