We received a quote for lawn care from ******* so on Monday April 18th he came to our home to do the work previously agreed on. He originally quoted $100 for the yard work but then raise the price after noticing that he had overlooked some things about the yard. Which was fine. He quoted $100 to clean gutters. It was late in the evening when he arrived so he promised to return on Wednesday to complete the job, which was a few things left in the yard as well as cleaning the gutters. My husband paid him in total on Monday, $250. Wednesday he was a no call no show, we contacted him and he said that he had been to the ** and diagnosed with the flu. We were understanding and offered for him to complete the job the following weekend. He declined, stating that his crew would come on Thursday 4/21 and finish the job he had been paid for. Thursday evening after 6pm we received a text stating that he was on his way, but he never came, nor did we receive a phone call or text message letting us know that he would not be coming. No call from ****** on Friday, or Saturday. He shows up Sunday morning a little before noon and does a little weed eating and then left. We contacted him at that time because he had not cleaned the gutters or finished the yard work , and he stated that he needed to go home and get another piece of equipment. He never came back. He never initiated cleaning of the gutters. He has been contacted several times and asked to at least return the $100 he charged for the gutters, seeing as how he did not provide that service. He has refused to do so
