I was hit by debris thrown up from the road by a vehicle in front of me while driving on the interstate. I didnt dodge it. I didnt even notice the damage until I was home. Thinking it might be a large bill to fix, I called Texas Farm Bureau. I was trsnsparent with them I want to get my car fixed. They offered no advice. The estimate was $1500 so I stopped the claim and just paid for the repairs out of pocket. Now I have a ding on my driving record for a Collision. Why, it's how I answered the questions asked by Texas Farm Bureau. I dont know if the debris went over or under. I just said under. Big difference. Under answer is a collision. My experience is Texas Farm Bureau is NOT a company you want expecting support. This company has no support for it's own clients. Never ever having a claim, we discontinued doing business with TXFB will all 5 of our insurance policies (3 cars, home and RV) Dont risk doing business with these people, they're NOT on your side.

Terrible, disgraceful insurance company. **************** is a nightmare, can never get ahold of anyone, everything takes way longer than necessary, and good luck getting them to cover any homeowners claims.

This place is a joke, we were hit by one of their drivers in November and took until end of January for them to finally appraise our car. Their estimate was less than half of the actual repairs. Poor communication, nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone. They dont hold up to their word that theyre going to email something or call us back.

Poor customer service, deceptive claim practices. Good luck getting them to take care of your claim. Initial inspection less than 3 min wrote a 5k estimate. Shop initial estimate over 25k. Took 17 business days to handle the initial supplement by policy they have 15 days. They intentionally under pay claims. Poor communication the only way you get communication is if you file a complaint. I filed a tdi complaint 1/25/24 seeking assistance regarding their lack of timeliness and inability to handle a supplement correctly. They intentionally left pre/post scans off, claiming that because the vehicle was not in motion that it did not require a pre-and post scan. If they had completed their investigation properly, they would know that the vehicle was being driven at the time the accident took place. They then changed their denial and stated it was cosmetic damage and did not require scanning. The vehicle had over 30k in damages the use of the word cosmetic was just a rue to get out of paying a claim they owed. Furthermore, the vehicle has several safety features that have to be reprogrammed as a result of being worked on, it was only after the *** complaint was submitted that they actually paid for the safety concerns of the pre-scan post scan. They also intentionally set their labor rate for aluminum body rate at $65 an hour. Their own direct repair shop in my area is $110 an hour. The shop that I chose to use was $100 an hour I had to do my own research due there inability to properly adjust claims in order for this to be resolved. They eventually paid $85 an hour for aluminum body repair because of the research that I completed for them. I received their response from my tdi complaint in which the company insist my tdi complaint came in the same time they completed the pre/post scan supplement and labor rates. Their payment was dated 1 week after the Tdi complaint was received. I do not recommend using Texas Farm Bureau insurance.

12-2-23 Saturday 6:55am i hit a deer between three rivers and choke canyon in the middle of the Country. Called farm bureau and an answering service answered and switched me to road side assistance. Road assistance voicemail responded, we are open Monday thru Saturday 7am to 5pm and hung up. The third time I called farm bureau, I told them not to transfer me till someone answers the phone from road side assistance. Answering service came back about 5 minutes later and stated, I cant help you because road side assistance wont answer the phone. This was at 7:20am. 12:30pm, 6hours later road side assistance calls me and ask if I still needed a jump. They were suppose to be open at 7 that morning. Two senior citizens left in the country stranded, no internet service and helpless. A mechanic stopped to aid help and got us out of the situation. When I called Monday morning to corporate office. No one answered. Left voicemail. A few days later ******************* from **** called me and said , she did an investigation and thats not what road side service said. She is as worthless as the dead deer I hit. It took about three weeks before they got a claim rep. ** evaluate my truck. I called **** back after the claim and she yet has not responded. I called my insurance agent ***********************. **ld him what has happened and how was they going to compensate me for leaving two senior citizens stranded for a service I pay for and they failed to respond. His answer was. You only pay 50 cents a month. This is how farm bureau takes care of they policy holders. When I went to the ************* on 12-4-24 to cancel my policy. ******* at that office said they were getting a lot of complaints from their third party road side assistance.

I have this company for my home and auto. The last 2 months I have tried to make the payment for my policy since I will not do auto pay due to the headache. I have went on the app and the website and tried to pay. Last month it gave me an error message twice then they went in and took two payments out of my bank account. I called the bank and had one of the two cancelled and Texas Farm charged me a $30.00 fee for returned payment. They did not tell me about this fee until I went to pay this month and the bill was higher so I asked why. The agent told me it was due to a rise in rates due to the amount of time vehicles are in the shop now. The receptionist is the one that told me about the returned payment fee. I told her I was not going to pay a fee for a mistake they made. She was able to get the fee waived. I tried to make my payment again this month and again got nothing but error messages. I called the office to make the payment and was told that to make the payment there would be a fee and I needed to go to the app or website to avoid the fee. I tried this again and got an error message. I was told that I should call the 800 number to make a payment. Again there is a fee for this. I am very concerned that if it is this hard to make a payment and give them money, how hard is it going to be if I need to make a claim. On top of everything I keep getting told that because they are a small company, they do not offer the usual discounts that almost all other insurances do such as pay in full discount, education discount, military discount, good driver discount.

After a long couple years period of a agent who doesn't answer ****** back, refuse to answer small questions also taking out payments without consent. I waited to talk to my agent about renewal. But Instead took payment without consent. after a full week waiting for refund, still no refund, I have never had such a huge headache over an insurance company. I will NEVER sign up again. Such garbage how I'm mistreated.

The current agent Mrs. ****** at the ********, ** office is horrible and beyond unprofessional. I went round and round trying to get a quote for someone to be added to my policy, long story short pricing was finally provided, and then I was told it was incorrect due to a glitch in their system. They proceeded to add this person to my policy without permission or accurate pricing being submitted. Saying I called multiple times to have this corrected is an understatement. Each time I was told that the agent would need to contact me and she is not available, or her assistant was out but someone would be in touch. At this point not only did I need my policy corrected but still required a quotation with accurate pricing to add another person to my policy. No one ever reached out to me from the office. The additional person is still listed as a driver on my account s******* up the payments. I was finally able to speak to the agent months later once a double payment was due because of their error. She was horribly rude and the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken with. Not an ounce of customer service extended or apologies for their mistake with my policy. I have been with Texas Farm Bureau for over 10 years and due to this experience will be taking my business elsewhere. If I could leave zero stars I would!

I am not getting a refund due to computer "gliche". I canceled both my auto and renters on same day. Received renters refund check a week later, February 23. I inquired on auto refund. Told due to computer glitch, auto cancel was not received, only renters. I canceled on February 16, 2023 both policies. It is in my file notes with my agent. On March 6, 2023, a draft was taken out of my account by Texas Farm Burea for my auto ins. Corporate office never received cancel on auto draft. Local office have notes of my canceling. I alerted my agent of draft. I won't be getting reimbursed anything on partial refund due for February. On the error of drafting March payment of $******, I will be charged $5 less due to I owe them $5.I tried for a better rate with Farm Burea insurance. I have been with them 6 years. My policy went from ****** to ******. I ask my agent if they could offer me a discount. I only drive my auto to church, 3 miles away, Dr. ***** 10 miles. Stores abd back local less than 1/2 mile from my home. I do not work, I take no trips more than ***** miles. I am 71 on social security only. I found cheaper rates, I am drafted on the 5th monthly. I canceled with Farm Burea with my new insurance on the line with me on February 16th. I would think that would be plenty of time to stop a draft. Yet 18 days later no auto reimbursement and draft taken out of my account. Yes, I'm upset. Thank you, **********************
