*** ******* was my agent with Goosehead Insurance. He has done nothing but cost me time, money, tears, and headaches. I was up for renewal. I never got anything in the mail, email and certainly never a phone call as my current insurance was doing an optional depopulation. I get all the other junk emails from him that have nothing to do with me but somehow some way I don't get THE MOST IMPORTANT email. I spent days going through my junk emails to confirm this. Never got a call and now after speaking to a dozen different insurance companies been advised they all do follow up calls in this kind of situation. Yet Mr. ******* did NOTHING!!! He has now costed me over ****** a year in insurance premiums and that's only after a week of me calling over a dozen different companies for quotes. Mr. ******* also advised I couldn't go back to my preferred insurance company. That's incorrect. As well that my 54k in solar panels didn't need insured. I had to leave MULTIPLE messages originally about that to even get a call back. I was promised 3x different times over the last month a call. NEVER ONCE DID I GET ONE unless I called back. I was told depopulation was too difficult to explain to me. Amazingly enough it took another agent at another company about 2 seconds to FULLY explain it to me. I TRUELY feel Mr. ******* made no attempt to help me or even care to help me. Even after insulting my intelligence and me DEMANDING never to speak to him and asking for a new agent he proceeded to call me. A month now I've wasted. He has no intension of helping you, no compassion, and truly doesn't seem to have one shed of humanity when it came to trying to do what was best for his client. Just someone else trying to line his pockets a little more at the cost of someone else. *** to you as say this. I'll pray for your moral compass as it certainly isn't pointing in the right direction to help anyone but yourself.Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC Response

I can honestly say that dealing with Goosehead has been one of the worst and most frustrating experiences I can remember. Ive tried for weeks to get an agent to provide information to Texas Windstorm Agency in order to continue my windstorm insurance without success. Ive been told by customer service that my agents lack of response is completely unacceptable and that my case will be given urgent priority status and then I never hear back from them. Meanwhile, my windstorm coverage expires in 3 days. *** filed a complaint with the **************** of Insurance but Im sure I wont get resolution before my policy expires. My agent lied to me. She said the only company that would insure me was ****** and my premiums for home and vehicle insurance were almost six thousand dollars a year. I would have lost my home from being unable to pay the increased premium if I had not done research a couple months in. I emailed the agent- asked her 3 times if there was an early cancel fee. She wouldn't answer my question, so I spent a lengthy amount of time looking through the policy language. Then I told her I wanted to switch to Progressive. She told me it would be bad to switch policies in the middle of the term because it would hurt my "insurance score". I told her I know about insurance and insurance scores are taken from credit scores primarily and I wasn't worried, wanted to switch anyway. Advised her *********** was offering me a policy almost $2K less yearly. She finally did something- stated she re-ran me through and ****** was my only option. I found that interesting since Progressive sold me a policy directly and Goosehead SELLS Progressive Insurance. She was trying to keep as much $$ of mine as possible. AND she charged me a $200 agency fee. I've never had an agency charge me. The agency gets paid from the insurance companies. Also- Never available when you call. I spent ***** minutes on hold each time I called.Review from Eugene K

BEWARE!! This agency and it's agents are extremely rude, unresponsive and avoid calls and emails! Their online support is also useless as there is NEVER an available agent to assist. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. I honestly do not know how they're even in business.Review from Diana L

I would never recommend Goosehead's services to anyone. They are hard to get a hold of; no accountability when they make a serious error. Once you use them as agent you can't use the websites of the insurance companies, you have to go through Goosehead for inforamtion. It took me 45 minutes to get through to them to get information on my vehicle insurance. My home insurance with them is a nightmare, they billed my **************** for two different companies, therefore 2 large checks were mailed out of my escrow to Goosehead. I called Good but they were no help. Luckily after 1 hour my Mortgage was able to get them to see the error. I received a check from Goosehead after a month which in turn I had to send to **************** to credit back my escrow. They will not cancel my home policy with them. I have attempted for 2 years. My sales agent will not call me back or email me. This company does not care about the consumer.Review from phil d

Not a very good experience with GooseHead. At first, ***** did a great job finding me an insurance policy that saved me money. Then when the renewal became too high they were nowhere to be found. I asked a few times to call me and let me know what options I have. He only had excuses. Never once did the guy actually call me back when I asked him to. I finally just found a place on my own and dumped them. Not I keep getting DocuSign emails for canceling my policy from other agents. I already did all that. ********************. Absolutely horrible company. I got scammed into using them to to close on my home. They could not find our address to do an inspection and refused to give us the information to set up the inspection. Then they told us our policy would not be cancelled and turned around and cancelled it anyways in the middle of hurricane season. I have a call on a recorded line guaranteeing that our insurance would not be cancelled yet here we are. I would absolutely not recommend using this company at all unless you want to lose your entire home. And their rates are ridiculous. The worst company I have ever come into contact with and take pride in taking advantage of new homeowners. I will tell everyone I know to share this about this company via social media so no one will be in this predicament like us.Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC Response

Absolutely zero customer service. ***** A sold us on a bill of goods, I will take your call 24/7, always here for you.. After policy was signed not once has he returned our email or calls.We were immediately denied after signing up by Allstate because our tree was too close to house. Corrected the issue and was reinstated. When signing up they had wrong lien holder and we told them. They said, sign policy and it will be fixed afterwards. When policy was cancelled they billed $1300, but when reinstated they billed correct *** and to correct mortgage. Now some collection agency is trying to collect $1300 but we are paid in full. Cant get any representation, answers or service. Do not use this company!
