On 10/28/2021, I took my 2012 ***** 3 to Tilden for repairs caused by collision with a blown tire piece on Hwy 820. Their job was to replace the fuel pump, broken by tire tread hitting it. They also replaced the carbon cannister. They damaged the fuel tank by apparently dropping it because the tank was bent on the edge as if dropped. When they replaced the carbon cannister they cut the evaporator hose and reinstalled it with a clamp causing a leak. When my wife picked it up on 11/15/2021 there was a serious rattling noise that was not there before. ****** told her that the rattling was due to a loose spoiler. I took it to another mechanic the next day and he suggested the gas tank was the culprit for the noise. I had him remove and replace the gas tank. This mechanic told me the tank had been dropped and showed me the damage. He also told me the evaporator hose was broken and kinked. He also said the heat shield was not reinstalled. I called Tilden to inquire about the missing heat shield and ****** said he still had it but couldn't figure out how to reinstall it and that the evaporator hose could not be ordered. He charged $1,436.32 for Tilden's repairs. I picked up the heat shield and delivered it to the 2nd mechanic. He replaced the tank and charged me $1,17543 to fix what Tilden messed up. I spoke with ****** about this and he agreed to reimburse me $700 but only refunded $511.10. Shortly after I was getting a warning light and the 2nd mechanic did not have the ability to diagnose or repair. I took to the ***** dealer and had them do repairs. One of the repairs was the evaporator hose which was $252.60. The mechanic at ***** said the evaporator hose had been cut. Tilden caused more needed repairs by dropping and breaking the gas tank, cutting the evaporator hose and not reinstalling the heat shield. I want a refund of $952.22 for the original invoice plus $252.60 for the hose they cut and reinstalled incorrectly.Business response

As per our last conversation ****************** is required to provided evidence that the tank was dropped and that the replacement tank is a new part and not a used unit from a salvage yard. At that point ****************** would receive the remainder of his refund. ****************** also declined to use his in shop warranty with Tilden ******** in lieu of another repair facility. It should be noted ****************** filed a claim with AMICA due to an impact to his undercarriage in the fuel tank/vapor canister area prior to Tilden ******** servicing the vehicle. The adjuster may be reached at *******************.
