I purchased a part for 15.00 and they charged my account 115.00, they never said shipping would be $100.00Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/03/14) */ On 02/19/2022, Mr.***** had placed an order for an item on our website. On, 02/21/2022, he requested that his order be cancelled. We emailed Mr. ***** and explained to him that the charge on his bank card was a pre-authorization amount and no funds were deducted from his account. We emailed him what his total charges would be, and we voided his order. We also spoke to Mr. ***** on the telephone and explained to him the same information, and that he was not charged for any items or services. On 02/21/2022, his order was voided. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/03/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They need to have bold disclaimers on their website about the 100 dollar pre authorization. It is nowhere to be found. Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/03/24) */ We appreciate Mr.***** comments. The amount Mr.***** is referring to is never charged by us or removed from the consumers account. It simply verifies that the account has funds that are able to be used for purchases. We also have the following statements on every order a customer places: "In an effort to offer you the best possible shipping and insurance rates, Model 1 Sales will apply the shipping cost at the time your order is processed. You may contact Model 1 Sales for an estimate of your shipping costs after placing your order. Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2022/03/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They still don't have a disclaimer for a pre authorization on their website.
