Our Ac Unit went out during the heat of the summer. Owner of the company came out and was very rude from the start. My elderly mother greeted him and he was not aware others were in the house. He was very condescending to her like he didnt believe anything she said. They went outside to check the unit. I did not hear what was said but when I went out to check on the situation my mother was in tears. He had said some things to her about our water pressure and general conditions of the house ( we tried to clean but with no Ac, things built up.) I asked him what the issue was and he said he needed to clean the coil but we had no water ( we had water but low pressure.). I offered to set up my pressure washer but he argued about that and first said it wouldnt work and then when I set it up to work he claimed the pressure would ruin the coil. He made it very clear, and I believe made up his mind to not help us and take our money. I asked him what was he doing here if he cant compromise and do his job and he said he was waiting to get paid!! I told my mother not to pay him for a: not being helpful and b: for being verbally abusive to my elderly mother. He heard me tell her this and then began screaming at me that he was going to turn us into the health department and a slew of other organizations. My mother gave him $100 and he left. It just appalls me that these people are allowed to operate and defraud handicap and elderly persons . And just as a side note, I was just released out of the hospital with a diagnosis for multiple tumors so my patients with this sort of thing is little to none. All we asked for is some comfort during these harsh conditions and this companies preys on the weak and vulnerable. In your investigation, please note thier business ratings ( ******* yelp, etc.) they are very poor and have similar complaints. I have also noticed through my research that they were certified by an insurance company as HVAC. This needs to be looked into.

This company came out under a warranty call through old republic home warranty. I paid the $75 trade call fee. They came out and quickly inspected our ac unit and said that nobody would cover our duct work that they said needed to be fixed. They told me that the report to the warranty company would be done the next day. It's been 2 months and I still cannot get them to complete my report to warranty. I have called texoma heat and air numerous times with them giving me the excuse that their boss is busy and he would get it done when he could. I have spoken with old republic and they have reached out to texoma heat and air on numerous occasions with the ac company giving the same excuses. Since they have not completed a report to the warranty company, the warranty company cannot give me any options for helping me fix my issue at hand within my home. I have told texoma heat and air numerous times that my grandma lives within the home and is sensitive to heat due to her having seizures. This has not helped. Old republic even put the work order in to texoma as a high priority call. Since texoma will not do the report and I cannot get any options from old republic on fixing our ac issues, I have bought 4 window ac units to place in our home to try and provide some relief. I couldn't stand seeing my grandma having seizures for being too hot. Texoma heat and air has no remorse for any of this.

Texoma heating and air was contacted for a home warranty call for our HVAC. The call was $75. The tech stated that we had a leak in our old unit and it would have to be replaced. He left with no work being done. After a week of calling, the owner of the business came out and cut a piece out of our coil outside and said they fixed the leak. Monday, the unit went out again. I called and was told they would get back to me. I waited 2 days and called again. I was told they would get back to me. 3 weeks later I called and they would not answer the phone. I called immediately from another number and she answered. I was told they didn't have time to work on my HVAC unit. I requested the $75 be returned due to service not completed and she hung up on me. This business has committed fraud and theft.

      Business response

      07/20/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/27) */ The company received a work order from Ms. ******' home warranty company. We work directly for the ******' home warranty company not the ******. The ****** were required to communicate with their home warranty company only not this company. Pursuant to their requirements contained in the home warranty policy, the ****** are responsible for the $75.00 "trade call fee" which is their required deductible. The company was requested by the home warranty company to collect the ****** trade call fee. If the company did not collect the fee, the ****** would still be responsible to pay their home warranty company directly the $75.00 fee. As to the work performed, the technician was at the ****** residence on May 2, 2022 and May 5, 2022 to repair the ****** unit. The ******' unit was repaired and working when the technician left pursuant to the requirements of their home warranty company. Any additional problems which arose days following the repair is the responsibility of the ****** and their home warranty company. The ****** were advised that the unit was old and it would be recommended that they start considering to replaced it and they would need to discuss with the home warranty company if replacement is covered under their plan. The company has been in contact the ****** home warranty and advised them of the ******' concerns and actions. The company was advised, by the home warranty company, that they have has discussed the matters with the ****** and any and all disputes must be directed to them and not this company, and the company completed their work order as required. As to the ******' alleged statement that any individual has hung the phone up on them is absolutely false. This alleged history and claims made by the ****** to the BBB is completely inaccurate and false. The ****** should be held accountable for their actions of fraud and attempted theft against this company and their home owner warranty company. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) We had another company come out and perform the work flawlessly and had zero issue. They were appalled at the "attempted" fix that the owner came out and tried to accomplish. He tore a hole in the condenser outside to try a cheap repair. I have phone records to prove they were avoiding my calls. I did speak with the warranty company and agree about the $75. I want an apology from this business that dragged a repair out for over three weeks and not giving any updates, only to then say they had no time to complete the work that they started. For this business to call a customer fraudulent because they couldn't finish a job they started says a lot about their commitment to customer service and horrible work ethic.
