My wife took her car into the shop because it broke down. A different shop said it was the time belt but since they could not fix it we brought it to *******. My wife said she agreed to the test and the change of battery but nothing else. They called her after they changed the spark plugs and the Fuel Pump (i think its called) and told her the car was still not working and she said ok. They took this as she gave them permission to do that work when she did not. They also Tried to get her to agree to a new transmission and engine but she said no. She did not need them. So **** (the old manager) got fired and the new manager ****** still want her to pay for unnecessary work that was not approved and the Owner ****** said he did not care she was scammed and has to pay the money.Initial Complaint

According to the Meineke warrant, I am due a refund of the money I paid to it for services that were not rendered. And defective parts were returned to the store. It has been more than 30 days since this incident, and Meineke has refused to make good on its promise to refund my money if their failure to repair or due to defective part is returned within one year.Initial Complaint

I recently got my car repaired from Meineke in Wylie, TX. I ended up spending $3000 to get my car fixed. I called the Wylie store today to see if they could check on some noise coming from my car since it has warranty. I get told that basically the whole store got fired and they couldn't help. They gave the information for the tech who worked on it and said that to give him a call and if he couldn't fix it, then to just keep calling back until they have a manager and a tech. This is the last thing someone who has spent this kind of money to get their car repaired wants to hear. Especially when they have a family that travels in that car. I drive an hour back and forth from work everyday. The last thing I want to do is risk the safety of my family or myself because a company doesn't want to abide by their warranty.
