As someone who hired Keane on their name and reputation, I can honestly say that their company lives up to neither. My husband and I hired Keane for landscaping, sprinklers, project management, a patio build and monthly maintenance, paying over $100K. What we bought was a bill of goods and false promises from ******* Keane. The contractors you hired for the concrete and outdoor kitchen, did terrible work. My 1-year-old concrete is cracking and not level. My outdoor kitchen build was made of scrap wood and has uneven staining and is separating or not connected in multiple places. I was told that it should not even be considered safe based on the way it was built. My landscaping, your companys expertise, is terrible. The plants were planted during a cold snap, and more than half are dead and never grew. I have both text messages and emails from ******* stating that they would be replaced if for some reason they did not grow, which he assured me they would. Just like he assured me that either him or his son would be around to project manage the entire process. They were nowhere to be found and are still nowhere to be found. I was texting with ******* a few weeks ago and he was supposed to come over and look at some of these things but never showed up for the appointment. He told me he forgot when I texted and haven't heard from him since. Your lawn men have broken multiple lights and sprinklers, costing me and my husband significant out of pocket costs. II am sorry that we ever bought into the sales pitch and would have preferred to spend my money elsewhere even if it has cost more.Review from Rick M

I wish I had reviewed this site before using these guy's Everything you are reading in this review and the ones below you best believe. I am in the final stages of a $14,000.00 remake of my front yard. I was warned by my daughter to avoid this group, I moved forward anyway. I recently retired and will do a lot of traveling and wanted a *** to handle things professionally. OOPS. Most of the install is complete including a small tree that they used bobcat to cross the yard without laying down plywood. Two noticeable ruts. I also wanted them to manage my commercial property in ********, (no response) as well as rework landscaping lighting at my house (no response) We also agreed that they would assume maintenance of my yard. They have not done any maintenance and my once beautiful yard to starting to look I have abandon the property. I discharged a wonderful human being for this. That weighs heavy. I have not had any contact with my rep ( a Keane family member) since 10/11/23 and that was a quick text from him responding to a phone message on 10/08/23 ( after payment seems he is unable to accept calls). I have made 3 other attempts with no response. The crew did a wonderful job on the install and I gave them $500.00 in cash for their efforts. Concerning payment they sent in an invoice for the full amount. I paid 1/2. They charged $44.00 per foot including tax to install 120 feet of stone. We only did 70 feet and there has been contact concerning adjustment of billing. I did not ask for any discount on their quote, I just wanted to move forward and hoped to check this off my list. So here I sit waisting my time writing a review. UGH...Review from Jay M

We are an HOA with 177 homes and are remodeling our two entryways with Keane. It took three months to complete one of the two entrances and five months later they finally finished the second entrance. A pretty simple project with no hardscape just plants and river rock. The project has been riddled with blunders that rest on management. The flowers and plants for the entryway were delivered and planted at the wrong location. The river rock had been delivered three blocks away in the neighborhood next to ours. Mulch was unloaded on private property. Five months of excuses and broken assurances. DFW metroplex has a plethora of Landscaping companies and the need to settle for sub par performance can easily be avoided. Do your research. The finished project was adequate for our needs, but the journey to get there was disastrous. It should not take 5 months to finish a small project and get a power wash team out.Review from Blake M

My wife and I hired Keane in the Summer of '22 for some tree trimming and some basic landscaping (removal of a few small bushes, planting some flowers and plants in the beds, etc.). They overpromised on a lot of things, lied about a lot of things, never finished a significant portion of the work they started, and didn't fix things after I told my project manager countless times what was done incorrectly. I filed formal complaints with the company through my project manager as well as through the "info" email address that Keane's website specifically told customers to use at the time, and to a Keane himself. It has been over 4 months, and I still have not received a response to my complaints. I'm out thousands of dollars, and the work still never got done. I am still waiting on my money back that I've given them. To top this all off, I received a statement out of the blue from Keane earlier this week (first piece of mail received from them since I filed my complaints last Fall) telling me I have a remaining balance of around $3-4k and that I am over 90 days delinquent! Are you seriously expecting me to pay you more money? Are you not giving me my money back? Are you reporting this to credit bureaus? Are you kidding me? If anyone at Keane is reading this, I sent another email today (and forwarded my previous complaints to help you save time digging it up since so much time has passed) to the "info" email address and to ****** (a Keane). PLEASE RESPOND TO ME AND GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. I just want to put this behind me.Keane Landscaping Response

Our team reviewed these lengthly emails extensively. We determined there was no reason to refund the money to the customer, though we did acknowledge that mistakes were made in the installation process. To that end, we voided the remaining balance on the account and closed the account officially. No further action will be take by Keane Landscaping.
We feel that our original attempts to fix issues were done with good intentions and we feel badly that the customer is not satisfied with that. At no point were lies told to the customer about any portion of this project. We will not be returning again to attempt to make further corrective work, nor will we attempt to collect the balance owed on the project.
We consider this project closed.Review from John B

It is a long and sordid saga. From the beginning of their doing my landscaping service, I was treated like I was a nuisance. It seemed like there was an issue each week with their forgetting to do something, their not showing up when scheduled, or not showing up at all. I attempted to contact them each time and seldom even got an acknowledgement of my complaint. Finally, in August I called them to cancel the service and even followed up on Aug 17 with an e-mail to confirm my cancellation. Imagine my surprise when they showed up in the 3d week of September and mowed the lawn. Then, to add to that, they billed me as overdue for September and also October. I mailed them the invoice with a note delineating that I had cancelled in August to take effect Sep 1. Upon their receiving the letter, *************** called me on Oct 25 and said they had not been contacted to cancel and that they had serviced my property each week in September. Both of course untrue. Then he practically called me a liar. I asked to speak to the owner and ******************** me. He said he would look into it. Imagine my surprise when I received in the mail yesterday an invoice for November and, of course, no further correspondence from *********
My only advice to anyone considering Keane is to run away as quickly as you are able and to tell anyone who will listen that they are to be avoided. They are incompetent at all levels of the operation - from scheduling, to servicing satisfactorily and on time and with quality, to their accounting, and, lastly, their customer service when there is an issue. How they have been in business as long as they purport is beyond me.Keane Landscaping Response

Very sorry to hear about your experience.
Weekly maintenance service is challenging, there are many factors that can impact service schedules. We try as best we can to maintain a consistent schedule, and we do our best to apologize when we cannot. We did make excessive efforts to make scheduling accommodations for your property at your request on numerous occasions. I am sorry that we could not fulfill them all the time.
Your cancelation request was simply not processed correctly by our team, which led to continued service and continued billing. Once Alex was alerted to the issue, he rectified it. No one called you a liar, we just simply had not seen the cancelation in the way we normally would. It was a mistake on our end, which does happen occasionally with a company our size.
Speaking with our owner in this case would not have brought a faster resolution to your issue, because he refers those back to the people who handle those issues (in this case, Alex) so you already had the highest level necessary to resolve the problem. Alex did that for you.
We normally require 30 days to process a proper cancelation and we do this in part because we have a series of memorized billing items that must be undone in order to remove you completely. The invoice you received in November was simply the remnants of that process, which we have since completed. It can be ignored as it was removed on our end once we had completely processed your cancelation. Your account has a $0.00 balance.
You are always free to call me if you have anything further to discuss on this matter. Again, we apologize that this was your experience.

Contracted with Keane Landscaping on 10/2/2022 to do property clean out. Walked property with ***** pointing out areas of brush and wild trees, ditch behind house and one tree in the back yard with limbs hanging down to the ground. We had to leave for an appointment and wrote them a check for the amount on the contract. They were gone when we returned later that afternoon to see that the tree in the back yard with the limbs hanging down to the ground had not been trimmed nor was the ditch behind the house cleaned out. *** texted me on 10/14/22 to inform me that I owed $99 to cover the tax. I told *** that I would be happy to pay the $99 if they would finish the job of trimming the tree and clean out the ditch. *** said he would talk to ***** and that was the end of our communication until I received an invoice for $99 dollars in the mail. I plan on paying the $99 dollars to complete my portion of the contract. Very disappointed that Keane Landscaping would not complete their portion of the contact.
