We hired Bingham restoration back in November 2022. They came out to fix the major leak that we had and restore all the damage that was done. We were referred to them by our insurance company. We hired a plumber who came out and fix the leak and they were supposed to remodel the bathrooms and do the sheet rock in our garage. The whole time we had them come out We would always ask them is the shower supposed to be tilted that way why does the tile not lineup things like that and they kept saying that that was normal. Fast forward to about a month ago August 2024 We had the same leak. We had a plumber come out after a restoration company came out to dry everything. The plumber showed us that the reason we now had this week is because when Bingham restoration put the sheet rock up, they drilled into the P-trap that was replaced causing a slow steady leak for the last two years. We contacted restoration and they told us that they did not have any warrantees we were pretty much screwed we needed to a new homeowners insurance claim.Initial Complaint

I had my roof re done and they said because my roof is covered by insurance my interior is for sure covered and they did the work knowing fully that it was not covered. and charged me an extreme amount for the little work they did and now I have a ruined house. (Cut up carpet in 2 rooms and put big holes in the walls and baseboards). They put fans in there and charged me for more fans and the length of time it was not in there.Initial Complaint

They dropped off a fan and a dehumidifier to help dry out my drywall. They said it was free for three days and I never hired them. I told them upfront that we most likely would not be using them because we were not sure that the insurance would cover it and we can’t afford it and they said it was free so there was no charge for the equipment for a few days. I notified them in less than 48 hours that the equipment needed to be picked up and they refused to do so and are now trying to charge me for it because they left it there for an extra 4 days after I requested it to be picked up. I have paid them nothing and never signed a contract. There had been no amount told to me when they dropped the equipment off. I was simply having them come for an estimate. I am wanting them to remove all charges because I do not owe them anything. There are no documents because again I have not hired them. They are just trying to get money out of me. They performed no work for me at all.Business response

To Whom It May ************************ style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: small; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Upon research of ******************* complaint on 5/15/24. I show the equipment he had in his home over those couple days was indeed free and he certainly was not charged. Due to it being free of charge, our billing team was never directed to create an invoice. I'm not sure where the confusion is coming from. The account was closed out on 5/13/24 when our equipment was picked up from his home. Thank you.
