I agreed to Settle with SaveCo for (3) three panel cleanings and payment of (3) month(s) electric bills. They paid for the electric bills but only finished (1) panel cleaning, in addition with speaking with the owner, I have an extensive true-up bill coming due and the salesman (****), had told me at the time of signing, that I could always add more panel(s) , if I needed for things like an electric car or just more panels for energy. I had now complained about the underage that my system is producing and know I heard crickets and I recieved a letter from an Attorney (whom has no standard in **********), to intimidate me. I should not have been told that I could enlarge the system, if it was not true, the salesman just want to put in a system. I was averaging $180.00 per month, now I am paying over $350.00 per month with the system.Business response

1. This is essentially the same complaint that was filed before that the customer agrees was settled in this 2nd complaint. As the customer states in this new complaint, we did settle the prior complaint with the customer, agreeing to reimburse the customer ********'electric bills and 3 panel cleanings. We did reimburse 3-months' electric bills and completed 2 of the 3 cleanings. The customer has recently requested the 3rd and final cleaning, which we will schedule when our crews are in the area. We expect that to happen this year. Panel cleanings are recommended every 1 to 2 years. This will be the 3 one requested by the customer this year.
2. From our monitoring service, the solar system is producing as it should. If the system is not producing the amount it should be, the customer has the following warranties: 1. SaveCo's workmanship warranty, 2. The equipment manufacturer's warranty, and 3. The leasing company's warranties. No claim has been made against any of these warranties.
3. As it relates to increasing the size of the system, the customer chose to finance the system with a lease. The leasing bank will not allow their system to be altered or changed. The customer has provided us several email correspondences stating that he has another solar company that has looked at his home and is willing to sell him additional solar capacity to increase the overall size of the system. As such, we do not understand the customer's complaint stating that he cannot increase the size of his system.
4. The customer states that his utility bill increased from $180 a month to $350 a month even after the solar system has been producing power and saving him money. The customer's statement that his utility bill has increased despite the solar system's production, is indicative that the usage has increased compared to the month where the customer was charged $180 and/or the utility company has increased their rates to the customer. Both are outside of ********************* control. Power costs have increased dramatically in ********** recently and the net result is even higher savings to our customers for the solar power they produce and use on for their homes compared to what they would have been paying without having the solar system.Initial Complaint

I purchased solar from this company and it has been going on three months since we signed the contract and I get nothing but inferior work (workers pulled off job to do another job and told I need inspection(s),,,,,,when the part that needed inspection...is still on the ground). I do not have confidence in this company anymore!Business response

We installed the system per the terms of our contract. It was inspected and passed inspection. The time to install was per industry standard in this COVID environment. There was lengthy time to obtain permits, which has been the standard since the COVID pandemic hit our country.
We have resolved the issue with the customer and he has asked us to do additional work for him.
