      Ordered a baseball bat for my daughter. Company sent me window tint. It was sent as a returned item which tells me some one weighed a roll of window tint out to be the same weigjt as the bat and basically got the bat for the cost of the tint. This company only weigjs the box instead of checking it's contents, than sends ot to an honest customer. I reached out to the company, their response was the package was the correct weight when it was sent out and they suggest that I check the place where I opened it to make sure I didn't misplace the bat. I'm out my money for the bat and my daughter can't hit with window tint. I'm pretty sure this company is a scam.

      I found two duffel bags on Al's website. The bags were listed as available to order. I purchased two bags and **'s charged my credit card. Two days later, they cancelled my order with the reason being that the item wasn't in stock. I go back to Al's website and it still states the two duffel bags are in stock, but they are now $24 more expensive for each item. I call their customer service line and ask if the duffel bags are in stock. The representative tells me they are available. When I ask why my order was cancelled, she puts me on hold. She comes back and says these duffel bags have a different model number, which isn't on their website.

      Ordered online on 9/24. Confirmation email said that item would arrive 9/29. Never received a shipping update and item never arrived. Called 10/2 for an update, was told my order would be put on top of the list. Called on 10/5 to cancel order since no action was taken and item never shipped. Friendly enough customer service, but clearly this company is incompetent.

      I was searching for a particular ski jacket and their site showed up with a very low price (~70% off). I thought it was a scam. Reddit showed some discussion about the site with mostly positive reviews. So, I bit the bullet and placed an order (through PayPal). A day after I got the tracking number from them and 3 days later I got the item, exactly what I had ordered. Cheers to that!

      I ordered a Thule roof top tent from Als.com. Price was very competitive and with free shipping. I promptly ordered. After 3 days, my order was stuck in "Handling Order" status. Called the support hotline, which was quick to answer. Customer representative explained that this was a direct ship item, and my order will be updated once they have shipping info. 5 days later, no status change. I called Als.com again. Same conversation, but with an added twist. I was told to wait until after Als.com missed their delivery estimate and to call a 3rd time. It never got to that point, the day before estimated delivery Als cancelled my order due to a website error and inability to ship large items. Why does Als.com have items on their website they can't fulfil? They wasted 9 days of my time. Think twice before buying large or competitively priced items.

      Ive always had had great experience with Als. Most of the people Ive talked to in store know their stuff. Ive also placed several online orders for in-store pickup and never had any problems.
