Date of the Transaction: August 29, 2024 I paid a deposit of $805.00 for a gate, fence, and railing to be installed in my home. The order was placed on August 29, 2024. Mark let me know that it was two weeks out but now we are going on over 1 month with very little communication. I was told it would be installed on 3 different occasions with the most recent being 10/15/24 and now they will not even answer their phones.

We received a bid from a Mark P******* with The Fence Bros Company July 25,2022 he led us to believe he was the owner of The Fence Bro's Company located in Mapleton. He provided the company insurance and documents, if you look online he is actively advertising. We were asked for a 50 percent down payment of $10,895.00 which was cashed immediately-see attached invoice and cleared check. After the down payment Mark would make appointments and not show up. Eventually someone came and put the railings up, but they are still unfinished. After months of reaching out someone installed the wrong fence. We hired Mark to match our pre-existing fence but he installed something completely different. Mark P******* kept telling us he was working on our project in his shop for months so we finally drove to his facility in Mapleton. When we got there he told us our staircase and fencing had just gotten sent to be powder coated. After this meeting, even more months went by and we still did not have them installed. Not knowing where to go I called the Department of Occupational Licensing. I found out that Mark P******* wasnt the owner he was an employee. Mike J***** at DOPL spoke with the owner of The Fence Bro company Joe O******. Joe O****** acknowledged cashing our check and said he would finish the job. It has now been months and Joe has done absolutely nothing but make more excuses about broken down trucks or court dates he has to attend. We do not have the spiral staircase, the railing on the balcony is incomplete, we had to hire someone else to do the gate as we had to enclose our yard for safety. They did not complete $10,895 of work on our home as you can see my the estimate. I have done thousands of transactions with vendors, this is not integrous behavior. Our experience with The Fence Bros has been extremely stressful, my hope is that they don't do this to anyone else and that they will refund the money they owe us.

On June 6th 2023 I contacted Mark at Fence Bros to install a fence surrounding our property. It is a large 1.2 acre lot. He sent me a quote for the fence. I was unsure if I wanted to use them, since my landscaper was going to match his price. After a few days of texting, he was very persistent, and I agreed over text to have him do the job. I wired him $42,000 on June 13th which was 70% of the total. He told me he needed 70 percent so he could purchase the materials and start on the job as soon as possible. We made it clear we wanted the fence installed as soon as our landscaping was finished. This is because there are deer and many animals where we live and they would eat our trees and bushes. He said he had me on the schedule for June 30th. On Tuesday August 29th they had made minimal progress and over text he told me they would be finished that week. Over the next two and a half months they continually told me that they would finish the fence each week. It is now December 14th 2023. All we have installed are poles in the ground, and about 10% of the panels have been installed. At this point, Mark will not answer my phone calls or texts. I called the supplier for the fence company and Fence Bros has not purchased the material that they said they needed the 70% downpayment to purchase. I have tried to be very reasonable with them. I have asked for a refund, I have asked if I could finish the work for them if they can get me the materials that I paid for. I have asked if I could supply the laborers for the job if they are short. He has completely gone silent and I cannot even catch him at his business location. His business partner, Joe, hides from people when they come to the office to try to resolve anything.

Fence Bros UT installed a 4-foot chain link fence on either end of my sports court. They were hired by a general contractor, All Courts, to complete the work. Long story short, All Courts went out of business and filed bankruptcy recently. I received a letter in the mail from Fence Bros informing me of a potential lien being added to my home if they weren't paid $1,500 for labor costs on the installation; All Courts never remitted payment. I called Fence Bros and tried to reason with them while at the same time letting them know of the issues with the fence (see pictures). These include 1) the fence is not completed to meet up with the vinyl fence and 2) the fence sitting so high above the court that pickle balls roll right underneath it (which defeats the purpose of having the fence altogether). When I asked them to fix this, they said that they would do so only after receiving the $1,500 and do it under the "warranty". I winded up paying this business because I really just don't have the time to deal with a lien issue nor do I want to continue receiving collection calls. I'm very disappointed with the professionalism of Fence Bros and refusing to come and fix the problem prior to payment. I have essentially paid double for this work and the quality is suspect at best.
