      Worst moving experience to date and I have had 3 interstate moves in the last 7 years. We now have small kids and thought hiring out for this move would ease some of the stress. They were hard to communicate with, charged the $10k bill to the wrong account, and put our belongings in storage rather than move them in a timely fashion. They write their moving contracts to protect themselves from liability at the cost of customer service. We ended up with ******************************************* via Allied moving and I have to recommend against using their services. Absolutely was not quality service for the cost.

      In April 2023, ******* ***** *************************************************** representative) gave me an estimate ($15,627.86) for moving from UT to **. He convinced me not to go with a broker for various reasons, and that he is an Allied Representative. He also stated I would have my own trailer and full payment would be at delivery (no down payments). The date of the move was confirmed: Aug 4 packing, Aug 7 loading, and delivery Aug ***** in **. On Aug 4, the packing was completed, and on Aug 7, loading was completed. I was only given 8 pages of inventory and no Bill of Laden. On Aug 7, *************************** ********************************************* contacted me and stated the drivers truck broke down, another driver was being assigned, and the trailer would be shipped by Aug 9. On Aug 9, a driver was assigned but would not be able to pick up the trailer until Aug 21 with delivery on Aug 25. Between Aug 9 & 16, I had several conversations with *******, *******, and Allied, with resistance and unanswered questions. ******* also advised he didnt understand why another driver was not assigned because they werent busy and had several available drivers. On Aug 21, ******* advised the trailer was loaded and the left for **. I asked why the trailer had to be loaded, and she stated the original trailer was unloaded into storage and then reloaded on the 21st for transport. I told ******* that I was advised by ******* during estimate that the trailer, once loaded, would not be unloaded until delivery. I also advised her that I was not consulted about unloading into storage and thats not what I agreed to have done. She stated it sometimes happens, and they needed the trailer for another pickup. On Aug 24, delivery was made with several items damaged and loaded upside down and sideways. The driver noticed the damaged items when they were loaded at Baileys in ****. He also advised that some local companies do this type of procedure in order to get more money from Allied for the storage.

      ******** is not a dealer of moving services but a broker for cross country moves. They use SIRVA. Look them up. Everything that I was told by Allied/SIRVA was false. This company is a broker of moving services not a dealer. They contract out with third parties they have no control over. NO one company is handling the move from end to end. Everyone in the process all point the finger at someone else. They do not take accountability for service failures, stall and delay claims and are simply unresponsive. During delivery items were stolen, delivery dates are guesses, MANY items will be damaged, and the service teams make no effort to be timely or responsive. My delivery missed the delivery window by a month. I kept hearing that they are hoping a driver will pick up the load. This company does not have end to end agreements in place when they contract your work. The process to log and then sign for your belongings at delivery is a joke, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING AT DELIVERY. The delivery team was rushed, and completely unprepared. They arrived at my new home without a ramp to get the items out of the truck, they had no floor protections, they had no tools to reassemble furniture per contract, they had no idea what they needed to reassemble or how, and they had no light in the truck after it got dark. I wanted a full service delivery but I had to work very hard to make all of it happen. I wanted this to go well but as I navigate the system to get reimbursed for damaged items or reimbursed for services that did not happen. My move happened in the first week of Oct of 2021 and they are estimating reviewing my damage claim by the end of May 2022. I will have been dealing with this company for nearly 7 months since delivery day. Highly unprofessional company and at every step all I hear about is driver shortages, how many claims are happening due to damage and missed delivery dates and how backlogged their systems are to handle customers issues.
