I have participated in the NPS Auctions for 10+ years. I have always looked out for their better interests by letting them know when I've discovered drugs, firearms, weapons and other illegal paraphernalia. However, I have learned by experience that when there is an item up for auction of considerable value, if the bid isn't high enough, something falls through and the item either comes up lost or can't be found. I've had this happen to me several times. There are consequences for the buyer that I must follow, but no responsibilities on the part of NPS Auctions. Approximately one month ago, I won an auto diagnostic tool in an auction and paid for it. When I went to the NPS Auctions to pick it up. Nick the manager told me that it was lost with 3-4 other items from the same pallet. He told me they were looking, and that I would either have the item or an email with a refund by the next morning. Three weeks went by without any communication or refund. Upon arriving at the NPS Auctions to pick up a won item, I asked Nick about the item and refund. As usual, he said they couldn't find it and he would issue a refund. I reminded him that he told me I'd have a refund or the item by the next day, to which he said nothing. Later that same day, I received an email from NPS auctions informing me of a refund that would appear in the next few days. One minute after the refund notification email, I received an email notifying me of an account status change, and that my account had been deactivated. I couldn't understand why, so I clicked on the email link that I could use to contact Admin for details. I sent an email explaining and asking for details. I tried sending the same request for information to the main website's email and it's as though my email has been blocked. NPS has "lost" items in the past that mysteriously resurfaced later in another auction. I've been completely blocked from all communications and locked out of the auctions, which will affect my future business.

NPS displayed sign saying purses and wallets $500 and under, from date March 13, 2023 to April 1, 2023 were 50% off. When I tried to purchase a purse on March 29th, 2023 with a tag that read $202, they refused to give me the advertised 50% off. Management instead tried to pull a confusion tactic on me by showing me different signs that in no way shape or form would over-ride their advertisements for 50% off. This is a direct violation of the law according to Utahs Truth in Advertising 13-11a-3 subpart (i) which states: advertises goods or services or the price of goods and services with intent not to sell them as advertised I believe that it was NPS management’s objective to display these signs without any intention of giving customers their advertised pricing. They need to be held accountable. In the future they need to only display signs in which they will actually sell items for advertised price.
