Landmark Honda service. Service rep. ******************* I regret to inform you of my dissatisfaction with the customer service provided by **********************, despite my three-decade loyalty. Upon delivering my vehicle at 8:40 AM on 7/25/2024, I patiently awaited updates until after 5:00 PM, after two unreturned voicemails. Normally, with former service desk personnel like *****, a discussion on potential solutions is expected within 45 minutes of vehicle drop-off. However, this time, I experienced an eight-hour delay, only to be offered options when they were no longer feasible, resulting in an unexpected charge of $318. This incident has led me to end my relationship with Landmark Honda, and I kindly ask for no further communication from your team. Thank you.Review from Dawn

First, this was my fault for signing a contract when I was working on this matter for six hours by myself at 83 years old. However, the manager at Landmark Honda (Freddy) gave me a trade in value of $2000.on my 2007 RAV. Then I figured that I would also trade in my Ford Ranger 2008. He gave me the listing of the value, which was much higher than the car (RAV-4 2007.) The price of the new CR-V was fair to me. When the purchase agreement was presented it was $500 for both. I saw him in action (Tyranical) with belittling my representative and knew that I was in no position the discuss this matter under these conditions. If your professional opinion is that I must live with my decision, I will. If it is your opinion, that I have recourse to come to the table with a "just" compromise, I will. In any case, I want the public to be aware of these circumstance so no one, less fortunate than I, has to face this fraud.Rosenthal Landmark Honda Response

I contacted Honda (Landmark) Freddy. and under advice asked for $5000 for my 2 vehicles trade-in. I will accept the trade-in value also. Also that if Honda, Freddy, sales manager would rather return my 2 vehicles in exchange for buying back my vehicles at his his payment of $500 for both vehicles. This action (phone call) was made on 12/1/23.Customer Response

In reviewing my papers provided by Landmark Honda at the time of the sale,, there is no mention of my 2008 Ford Ranger which I thought was used as a trade-in (total of $500 for both) Does this mean that my Ford Ranger still belongs to me? When can I pick it up. If the papers provided to me after completing the transaction are valid, signed copies, another error is that I contracted for 2 extended warranties. I remember only one, the one that costed $100 per month. I want to see the original signed copy.Customer Response

After discussing my understanding of sale of the new CR-V contract, I have a complete picture of the transaction and withdraw my complaint. Thanks for your help and I am sorry for any inconvenience that I may have caused.Review from Aaron R

I was provided a price by their online sales team, and they would not honor the price once I arrived to purchase the vehicle. They clearly lied and would not rectify it when I showed them the email. I don’t expect much from car dealers but dishonesty is still not right.Rosenthal Landmark Honda Response

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the pricing details for the vehicle you are interested in. We appreciate your engagement with our sales team. After reviewing the information and understanding that you received both an out-the-door (OTD) price and a price without taxes from two different salespeople, we regret to inform you that we are unable to honor the price without taxes for the OTD transaction. Our pricing structure, including taxes, is an integral part of our sales process and unfortunately cannot be altered in this case. We understand your perspective and value your interest in our dealership. If there's anything else we can assist you with or discuss further, please feel free to let us know. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you. Best regards,Review from Ali M

AN ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A DEALER. I called for a 22’ Honda Civic that I specified I was going to buy the same day (for my daughters birthday). I asked the salesman Sam on 3 separate occasions if the vehicle was actually there because I was coming to buy it. Was given numbers by the salesman Sam only to drive from an hour Away to be told it was sold as soon as I got there? Complete bogus as I looked around the lot and didn’t even spot the vehicle I called for. They tried to bait and switch me like some crooked amateurs. I then expressed my frustration with the imbecile of a manager named Bernard who then got frustrated with me because they decided it would be a good idea to waste a grown mans time who was only looking to buy a vehicle for his daughters bday. He then tries to showboat his sales board with unnecessary aggression while having zero sympathy that they completely wasted my time by trying a bait n switch. I will be reporting false advertisement to the dealer board as they had about 10 of these vehicles listed for sale but not a single one on the lot. This place is a circus run by amateurs who have absolutely no idea how to do good business. Rosenthal needs to do a better job of who they hire and let represent their company as Bernard showed zero professionalism and curtesy for a customer who was looking to quickly buy a vehicle for his daughter birthday. In fact, that negligent imbecile needs to be fired before he continues these unprofessional mannerisms and more customers write reviews. I would give this circus zero stars if that was an option. Rosenthal do better business!Review from Chris B

I was a first time car buyer and they took advantage of it. They sold me a lemon, a car that had multiple mechanical issues that they did not disclose. I ended up spending an additional $3k within 6 months of owning the car due to the mechanical issues. Even worse, they sold me a car with a damaged frame, and did not disclose that. The car had a reported accident in New York, but due to New York law, which I found out when I sold my car to CarMax, 3 years later, they do not need to disclose the severity of the accident and the CarFax they produced didn’t reveal anything alarming. CarMax brought out a different company that shows vehicle records which showed the car had been in a severe accident and had frame damage and the car had to be towed. Landmark Honda knew this, but sold me the car regardless and did not provide an honest vehicle record.
