I signed travel with more than 40 ****** women with a Top Travel company running by ****** couple in Centereville, VA. The majority of people were 8nights/9days trip, but I signed for 10nights/11days its include 2nights/3days Jeju City tour. 8nights/9days tour it costs at $1,680, but $679 pay more to travel to Jeju City tour for 2nights/3days extra. $679 includes are following; *Air ticket from and to Kimpo and Jeju *Stay at ***** Hotel for 2nights (2p per one room; Top Travel assigned everyone 2p/room before left for Korea) *3 Breakfast at ***** Hotel (10/24, 10/25, and 10/26) *3 days city tour in Jeju City and lunch & dinner. On Oct 24th on the way to Jeju City, the guide says I need to use a single room which was fine with me (originally, Top Travel assigned with all 18 of us a double bed). We as individually do not have to looking for a roommate period. If Top Travel let me put a single room that's their responsibility to take care it. It was original contract with them. In May, we were requested make a deposit of $500 and in July we were requested paying whole amount of $1,859 by check not with a credit card. Top Travel did not want to accept credit card. By the time in July I paid total $2,359 for this trip. On Oct 24th before we arrived at ***** Hotel, the guide told me that I must pay $400 (500,000 won) since I need to stay at single room. ; I did not ask for a single room and I was assigned with another person and took away another person not with my intention. If Top Travel had to change me to a single room, this was their benefit and their intention. The guide forced me to pay 500,000won (about $400) if not I won't have the room that night (Oct 24th)!!!! I had to use my credit card to charge the room at 500,000won (converted US dollar at $353.82). What a scam!!!!!! When I got in the room, there are one king and one queen bed. I called the front desk I needed a single bed but she couldn't change the room for me the guide told her so.
