On March3, 2023, following advice from my regular mechanic, I took my 2019 Ford Ranger to Berglund Ford in Bedford, VA. The air conditioning was not working and my mechanic said the Air Distribution Housing needed to be replaced. Since this would be warranty work, it needed to be done at a Ford Service Center. Berglund said they could do the work and they would order the part. Ford Corporate approved the repair and agreed to Berglund's estimate. After a few days, I called to check on the truck's progress and was told that the part wasn't in yet. After two more days, they said the technician who could do the work was unavailable. I kept waiting for a call back. Whenever I called they had another excuse; it's not ready, maybe tomorrow, you're next in line, etc. Then our contact at the Ford Corporation in ********* ******** called to say that Berglund wanted more money and she was waiting for a new estimate. Three weeks after dropping the truck off, my wife was driving past the dealership and noticed the truck was outside in the lot and assumed the repairs had been completed. She went inside and asked the man behind the desk (his name is *****) if the truck was ready to go. After a ten minute delay, the man went into the repair shop and did not return. My wife then went into the shop and saw ***** and two other people in a huddle in the rear of the shop. As she started walking towards them, ***** came up to her and gave her the keys. She was relieved that the truck was ready to go. ***** then tells her that the truck is not fixed. He could not or would not give her an explanation. She asked to speak to the manager and ***** said he was the manager but refused to give her his last name. She then walked around the dealership looking for someone else to talk to but the offices and salesmen's desks were all empty. ***** came running after her and told her to get off the property or he would call the cops, so she left, came home and we went back and got the truck.Business response

Hello I’m filling a complaint for today date 11/17/2022 at the berglund of bedford ford Buick gmc location. The general manager **** would not take my statement on a coupon that the service center mails out because it was NOT the original that I clearly stated that I had threw away by accident but I had a copied one. So he took under his decision to give myself and sister free oil changes for today even after willing to pay the coupon because she had coupon also the price of 49.95 before taxes he told us that it was a no charge for both us today even after trying to pay cause I don’t want nothing free that it one time thing and to not come back to that location . My oil changed was also scheduled at 10:30 am I was present at location at around 3:40 pm and was after 4 leaving because my gmc Yukon was yet to be finished. **** did not handle this situation in a manger aspect. I have been going to this location I know since 2016 if not before I do not agree with him telling myself and my sister to not come back .Business response

I purchased a Toyota HIghlander from Berglund in Bedford, VA on October 22, 2021. I still have not received the title so I am unable to register my car I have called left numerous voicemails with the Title Lead and with the owner's assistant and have not received a response. The Title Lead did promise to overnight the title in November, but I have not received it. She also promised the bank she would overnight it 3 weeks ago, we haven't received it. Now I am unable to reach her or anyone else.Business response
