In ground tank owned by Tiger Fuel leaked propane and they will not check amount left in tank. Twice annual fill up was made on 01-03-23 at which time several leaks were observed. After numerous calls and repeated trips service crew finally band-aided repairs to several above ground leaks, after what could have been months of a leak. To finally get the repairs completed, we had to call the fire department and have them certify the leaks. We had to evacuate the home until the fire department arrived and checked in the home for propane. The fire department then called Tiger Fuel and only then did they respond to make temporary repairs. Tank is 26 years old and Tiger Fuel will not replace it, nor check fuel level as they contend the low reading on the tank gauge (gauge has replaced three times by Tiger Fuel) is malfunctioning. Service Manager ***************** only wants to talk about the problem via telephone where he can record the conversation and will not respond of any plans in writing. As reported by experts and Tiger Fuels own delivery driver, any propane leak is dangerous, but *** has discounted it repeatedly by saying it is only a vapor leak and there is no need for concern. He will provide no documentation stating the tank is safe and offers no assurance of our in home safety. *** has never been to the site and his service crew is composed of two very young and obviously inexperienced men. They had examined the leaks before and had made no repairs until the fire department called Tiger Fuel. The service ticket left by them contained no details about any repairs and was found by us in the shrubs outside our front door, after a night of rain had rendered the poor penmanship and few details even more unreadable. We have never been advised of the the amount of propane currently in the tank, nor have a long term solution. We are concerned about running out of propane, or having an explosion, and home resale value as the home goes on the market soon.

I Purchased a home (318 ************** **********, **) in 2007 that had two 120 gallon propane tanks. Nothing in contract stated they were not my property. I would get them filled periodically as needed for gas logs each winter. August of 2022 (15 years later) I received a bill in the mail from Tiger Fuel stating that I owe rental fees for the two propane tanks. I have called Tiger Fuel several times with questions and have stated my position that I wholly believe these tanks to be my personal property. They have neglected to show me any documentation from the past 15 years that declare them as owners of these tanks. I have never received, witnessed, or signed any agreements with Tiger Fuel that would show them as owners of the two tanks. There are no identifying tags or features on the tanks that would show any ownership other than myself. I feel this is an unlawful expectation of me to pay rental on property that I have rightfully owned since moving into this home. I have always purchased propane from Tiger Fuel and have no other issue or complaint with them. I would like to continue to do business with them if they can resolve this.
