Tidewater Finance Company is reporting inaccurate information on my credit report and I would like it to be removed. It is a violation of my rights to report inaccurate information. The inaccuracies have been disputed on more than five separate occasions. Tidewater Finance Company is reporting incorrect monthly balances, incorrect dates and they have continued to do so for the last five years.Business response

I am a natural person living on the land and I'm not belligerent. I have requested the accounting ledger and original contract from tidewater Finance since 2018. I have received no response . I have not had this debt validated. My rights have been violated on the **** Act and my privacy rights have been violated because they are reporting inaccurate information on my consumer report. I also never received a notice on the right to rescind.Business response

This company has a deliquent report on my credit report for an account that has already been paid off. I have the email from that company showing that my balance is ** and I owe nothing.Business response

The attachment for this complaint references ***** **** **** which is not connected to Tidewater Finance Company. From a search of the internet the website for ***** *** **** is ***************** and their customer service phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Also if my name is appearing on my credit report coming from them and they have no record of me being connected with their company they need to take it off of my credit report because that is what it shows. Tidewater Finance Company made a settlement with me concerning my account. The settlement amount was paid in full last year 2021. I have asked several times for a written letter to be sent to my address on ****** Drive. Later during 2022 I asked for the letter to be sent to a PO BOX because someone had tampered with my mailbox at my petsonal street address. However, when I talk to a team member for my letter they keep telling lies, misleading answers,and poor customer service. I initially had spoken with ** ********* about my settlement letter after I paid the settlement off and i was told by her that she would send the letter in the mail at ****** Drive. Recently I called headquarters this week again, asking for the written letter of satisfaction with this account and told they wluld check into it. What is there to check into when you have the money and the amount paid in full for the settlement amount. Tidewater Finance Company is not a company that take accountability for their poor communication, customer service, misleading, they lie, they dont do their part and they have not updated my credit history with the 3 insritutions- ********* *********** etc. I am demanding my letter. I am demanding an apology! I am demanding for Tidewater to change my credit history since last year with the 3 private institutions. And I should be compensated for their lack unprofessionalism and disatisfaction.Business response
