I purchased the car from Honda Nissan almost 2 years ago and I'm still paying for it it had a broken crash sensor that they said they would replace they still have not done it after multiple attempts to contact them did not realize it at first but looking at my invoices they have been put in the wrong weight and amount of oil in my vehicle there is also overspray inside the trunk and on the tail lights indicating it had been wrecked and repaired not to my knowledge

First is the we owe - this is signed at the time of sale - all that is listed on the we owe is the free state inspectionsNext is the cost of a crash sensor. This would be parts & labor. This is not something that we are covering for her. We included a copy of the carfax on the vehicle showing that there was no vehicle damage before she purchased the vehicle.Service history is the final set of papers showing what has been done to the vehicle when in our service department. The system rounds up on oil. If a tech puts 4.5 quarts of oil in the vehicle, it will round up to 5. Let me know if you need anything further from me! ***** ********

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regards, ****** ****** the crash sensor was broken when I purchased the car ******* ******* said that it would be replaced for me have been going back and forth since I purchased it and every time have been told it was on back order at no time was I informed that I was to pay anything extra. I also did not receive a Carfax and where the sensor is located if it wasn't struck by something it would not be broken there is also overspray when you open the trunk on the tail lights from where the rear end has been painted none of this was disclosed to me. Not only was the wrong amount of oil put in the vehicle it was the wrong weight and the car only calls for three and a half quarts which would round up to four not five do the math.

On 03/21/22 my 2019 Honda Civic (still under warranty) had an axle repair at Covington Honda. My 18 year old daughter picked up the car after repair was completed. On her 35 mile drive back to ********** ** she noticed the car to have a loud roaring noise. Once home, we called to advise Covington Honda and were told to bring it back (another 70 mile trip) on 03/22/22. On 03/22/22 at 9 a.m., my daughter began traveling back to Covington. Shortly after getting on the interstate she heard a noise from beneath the car, seconds later she heard something metal fall off and saw a metal part tumbling in the roadway behind her. She immediately pulled over, as she was afraid to drive any further. A state trooper arrived at her location, called a tow truck and the car was towed to Covington Honda. Upon inspecting the vehicle it was determined the part that came off was some type of metal cover/shield. I assume this was the same issue causing the roaring noise the evening prior. This was not an issue when the car was taken into the shop. It only became an issue after they worked on the car. I assumed after replacing an axle, a mechanic would test drive the car and detect such a roaring noise. Apparently, this is not the case. The car was fixed on 03/22/22 but Covington Honda refused to pay the tow bill of $125. The need for a tow arose directly from their actions while having custody and control of the car. Had they done their job correctly, there would have not been a tow bill. I have bought 9 Honda vehicles, 2 of which came from this dealership. This is extremely poor customer service as well as poor work on the part of the service department.

Hi the customer brought the the car in for a popping noise while in reverse with the wheel turned to left, it was determined that the left front drive shaft was bad. We replaced the left drive shaft, which doesn't reguire the removal of the lower engine cover. We have never changed the oil in the car which does reguire the removal of the lower engine cover. The some off the lower engine cover plugs which holds it in cover where missing and replaced by zip ties. I am including 3 attachments that show's where the location of the axle, location of the shield, and a picture of a broken zip tie. Even though we was not responsible for the cover coming off,**** offered to pay 1/2 or the tow bill and the customer refused.
