I hired David and paid him a total of $22,000 to do a lot of work for me right after my husband passed away. Doors replaced siding windows gutter front columns and porch etc. Upon completion of the work I brought my issues to David himself and he said he would fix but never has. The work was completed august of 2021. I’ve contacted him multiple times about the repairs and he said he get to them but excuse after excuse and it’s still not fixed. My windows were cut out from the outside which has loosened a lot of the trim inside that I’ll have to repair. My front door and French door leak air and seals are cut wrong and damaged and the French door isn’t installed properly so the bottom trap is bowing and all trim to the front and back door is cracking due to bad installation. Also the front door was installed damaged but he wouldn’t contact manufacturer and now it’s out of warranty. My siding has a few flaws as well. Back back garage door leaks some water at the bottom which it didn’t do before the back French door needs to be re installed and the front door replaced. David came today but was very angry because I called him out on his disrespectful behavior to me over the past year. He continues to make excuses for his behavior and I myself have lost 3 family member within two years and have still chose to be kind. So that being said when David showed up today still didn’t have the material to fix the mistakes and then proceeded to be very mean and hurtful to me to the point I cried I asked him to leave my house. I don’t want this man inside my home anymore and I do not want anymore contact from him. He has great kind workers but he himself isn’t honest unfortunately. I just need this mistakes fixed. I need my doors fixed and to not leak air and my floor molding installed at my door and the siding fixed and the trim fixed. This man has put me through so much stress and hurt and it’s not ok. I only would like a refund so that I can pay someone else to fix.Customer response

I just truly want this to be over. These are more excuses and not facts and not all of the conversation. I was not angry either at David the day I through him out of my house I was actually crying and heartbroken and told him I was done with the excuses I understand what it’s like to walk every single moment of every single day with grief. I lost my husband oct 27 2020 my mother feb 3021 and my father July 2022. But I try to walk this earth with love and kindness. I’ve never had to deal with something like this before and I pray I don’t again. But I know my God has a purpose for everything I go through. I wish the best for David and I just want to move on. As long as he promises to pay to fix all mistakes and yes he can pay my contractor**** * ****** *** ** ******* ** ******* ** ** ** ******** ******* personally then I accept.
