      I received a bill from Radiologic Associates of ************** back in April of 2021. The bill said I owed $139 for breast cancer screening done on 03/19/2021 at the ********************** in Fredericksburg. When I looked at the information they submitted the claim to Anthem which was processed out of network and I do not have and is not the information on the card I provided. I have CareFirst BlueChoice Healthy Blue which is an in-network option. I paid my co-pay at the time of service and should owe nothing further. I am also a repeat patient and have not had this issue before. I called their billing department and relayed the information back in April of 2021. I was told they would reprocess the claim. I never heard anything further. Yesterday 12/07/2022 I received a letter from ********************************** stating I owed $79.47 for not paying my bill. I was shocked! I have never received a notice from a credit agency before. I immediately called and they told me that Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg had sent it to them for collections. I explained the situtation and she told me to call them at ************. I called 12/07/2022 and spoke to ******* whom said she was a supervisor. She told me they processed the claim properly and that I owed. I told her no they didn't and told her to look at other claims that were processed properly. She then admitted they made a mistake and that she would "Try and pull back from collections" and send up to billing review. She also said if I don't hear back to call back in a few days. This is truly ridiculous. I told her I never had received any follow up notices from April 2021. She wasn't seeing any and didn't know why I never received anything further. I want to ensure they take care of this and that my credit is not affected. They need to cancel the claim submitted to Anthem and reprocess correctly to my carrier. I am truly upset by this and this is unacceptable.
