My girlfriend attended class at Family 1st of Virginia (Healthcare and Safety Training) LLC from May 15, 2023 through June 23, 2023 Cost of the training program was $900 plus another $140 for two test fees (total of $1040)********************* (owner of company) has an internship program with ************************** Nursing Home. This program pays for tuition costs on behalf of students who are willing to work with them for a period of time. Girlfriend signed up for the program on May 10, 2023.On graduation day, June 23, girlfriend was notified via text message that tuition was not paid. Text message came from ****** (partner of *********************)On June 24, I (***************************) paid tuition via check in person. While processing the transaction, I asked him why he was charging $1040 since the tuition cost was only $900. He indicated the cost included the two test fees. A receipt for the tuition and two tests was received immediately after payment.On June 27, girlfriend notified ******* Nursing home that the tuition was paid by *******************. ******* responded with an email indicating they had paid the tuition on June 5, 2023 On August 2, *************************** called ********************* to resolve the issue.On August 3, we met at his training center. During this meeting, ********************* was unwilling to refund the additional payment and challenged me to go to court. Receipts and text messages can be furnished upon request.Customer response
