Blue Haven Pools, Manassas is incredible! It is the best pool construction experience we have ever had! We have lived in eight homes with in-ground pools. This is the fourth pool that we had built. We interviewed other local companies and were not at all satisfied. From the initial sales/design experience with Pete Cierski to the end, as Taylor Farms is filling our pool with water right now, each Blue Haven person or subcontractor has been extraordinary. This is a very professional organization who take their pool construction seriously. What a joy to work with Nate Krolikowski, Tom Roan, Erica Opatz, Jamie McDowell, Cheyenne Rincon, and Vicki Frye! They coordinated everything with over-the-top almost daily communication: emails, texts, phone calls, and visits! There was never a question or concern unanswered. Walter Santana’s paving/tiling/coping installation was precise, exact and fabulous. He looked at the ground once and corrected a drainage problem. Throughout this process, every aspect of this construction has been outlined, described, scheduled and completed on time. We are just flabbergasted by the level of coordinated effort. All work has been supervised with returning observation - sometimes daily. Our pool is beautiful. We cannot say enough about this company, their materials and most importantly, care and professionalism provided to their customers. THANK YOU BLUE HAVEN!!Blue Haven Pools & Spas Response

We couldn’t be happier – our Blue Haven pool has exceeded expectations! From our initial consultation; Carrie’s expertise and eye for the design; navigating through the unexpected fill dirt in our yard; the incredibly detailed “pool school” to ensure that we knew how to maintain and operate our pool; and culminating with Nate’s visit to ensure the finishing touches were squared away the afternoon before our pool opening party, everyone has been receptive, responsive, and professional! They’re an honest company that stands by their quality work – bottom line, I’d recommend Blue Haven to anyone in the area looking for a company to build a pool.Blue Haven Pools & Spas Response

We had an extremely poor experience with Blue Haven Pools. - In the spring of 2021, our manager stopped responding and after contacting BH we learned he was no longer with the company and they were not aware of our contract. Once we sent them our contract, we kept asking to be assigned a new manager, and were not assigned one until August 2021. - The coping (jutting out 4 inches into the pool) and the depth of our pool (not matching the diagram and too deep) were both done incorrectly and had to be completely redone. We were the ones to notice the mistakes. - After the pool was plastered, we noticed that our tile spotters to mark the stairs edge, etc were missing. We asked our manager and it was clear he had forgotten them. His response was that it would cost a lot at this point for them to be put in, and “we could not get something for free”. Displeased by this logic, we reached out to the Vice President of the Manassas branch, explaining the situation and asking BH pools to take responsibility for their oversight. We emailed the VP on August 2, 2022, called the office several times leaving him messages, and also sent follow up emails on August 4, 8, and 16th - all of which received no response. Our manager finally responded on August 22, 2022, 20 days later, saying they would add the spotters in. We never heard anything from the VP. - Experiencing radio silence when there was an issue was unfortunately a very common occurrence. Our manager frequently didn’t respond to texts, calls, etc. Staff also often showed up in our backyard without any warning or communication as to what was happening. - We also had issues with materials (tile, debris, and even a bag of concrete that hardened) being dumped on our property and not cleaned up for months. Although there were several staff members from the office and those that came out to work on our pool who were fantastic, it is unfortunate that our overall experience was extremely negative.Review from Charlie P

Blue Haven has been great to work with. Everyone involved in the process has done a great job to ensure we are happy with our new pool. Blue Haven was not the cheapest quote but the quality of the work has been well worth it. We have watched other companies build pools for our neighbors and Blue Haven has been much more efficient. We went from dig to filling in a little over 2 months. Having a big project like this done is stressful and there are always bumps in the road but Blue Haven definitely did a great job to make everything run smoothly and ensure we were happy with the final product.Blue Haven Pools & Spas Response

We got a pool installed in 2021. Not sure if it was due to COVID but the service was horrible! The communication was terrible. We were told multiple times that workers would come however, no one showed; no explanation was given. A Project Manager was rarely here to supervise. The work was shoddy. We have bubbler on the leddge that is not centered. My main issue is the plaster. Most of the plaster was done at night (workers did not have the appropriate equipment to perform at night) . We have plaster all on the coping and tiles of the pool and hot tub. There are also streaks. We contacted the company numerous times without resolution (pictures can be supplied if needed). We wanted a beautiful oasis, instead we have a constant reminder of the elementary service we received at a high price.Review from Michael M

I'm glad my wife and I chose Blue Haven Pools to do our pool renovation! They did a great job from start to finish. The pool was built 18 yrs ago and needed some TLC, and Blue Haven did not disappoint. We had the Pool and Spa tile and coping replaced and the plaster resurfaced. They found hairline cracks in the spa lines and were quick to fix the problem and keep moving. Our pool was down for 2 weeks and we are now swimming in our newly renovated pool.Review from Deborah H

We just spent the weekend in our new pool! Blue Haven delivers a beautiful product! We couldn't be happier with it. Most importantly, Frank and team delivered our pool at the exact contract price... no suprises and no change orders! James is their chemistry guru, and he helped educate us on how to maintain our new pool and ended our experience on such a positive note!Blue Haven Pools & Spas Response
