I brought my truck in to get a clutch replaced. While I was there all the mechanics were just standing around. Took them about an hour and a half to actually start looking at it. They told me my transmission had bolts missing that hold it on and wouldn’t work on it. I checked my truck before they put it back together, I had 7 bolts. I drove it up the road to another shop. The shop opened it up and said ALL my bolts were missing along with my oil cap, the holes were fresh (meaning my oil leak didn’t spray oil on them) and there was fresh silicone that wasn’t even dry yet (mind you I have never put silicone on my transmission in my life), holding the transmission on instead of the bolts. The mechanic said he’s seen this before and it was always a result of tampering. I called the shop with my wife to ask them about it. We were berated. Called (excuse my language) “retards,” my wife was called a stupid *****, full of ********, talked down to, he treated her like a 3 year old and tried to mansplain literally everything she already knew, and quite frankly proved she knew more about than him. He ended the phone call by saying “pull up, I’m not a hard man to find” insinuating he was going to assault me and my wife. The mechanic working in my truck now is making a full report and said he wouldn’t trust that company with their lawn mower.

I am following up regarding this matter to this complaint that you have written about our company.  We have been in business for 35+ years and always do our best to accommodate our customers.  As to retaining to your complaint, we have video and voice monitoring at our company which plainly has us explaining to the customer his issue that was addressed. The transmission had slid back every time he pushes the clutch, the transmission will slide back due to several bolts missing and holes oblong. Silicone  will in no way ever hold a transmission into place due to the weight of the transmission.  Furthermore, we have time stamped and dated on our video system the driver arrived at 8:30am and was pulled into the shop within 20 minutes. The foreman explained to the driver what the issue was, showed him the issue under the truck and also explained to him what the truck would need to be repaired properly.  The driver said he would not be bullied into purchases he did not think he needed. At that time, the foreman called the owner and explained the situation.  The owner advised that the truck would have to have the parts that were damaged or Complete Truck Service, Inc would not repair it.  The driver left at approximately 10:30am.  He knew what the issue with the truck was.  Furthermore, we also have video surveillance in our shop the hood was never opened on the truck. How could an oil cap be removed without hood open? In regards to the phone call, there never was never anything inappropriately stated the woman at all as the customer is claiming.  The statement was made that he was going to have the owner served and sued for everything that owner has and that the owner didn't have much.  The owner said at that time, I am not hard to find, send them on in regards to serving papers.  This claim is false and should be disregarded without any further issues
