Bought my wife 2020 Lincoln Max in because of complaints about a ticking sound when she turns the wheel while parking etc. video taped the noises the car makes when turning. Took the car in because it’s still under warranty and was told that the noise could not be duplicated and that no issue was found. Days pass and I take the car back because because the noise is noticeably louder and get the same response back after they kept the car for days. We cannot duplicate the noise your car is making, furthermore there is no issue with your car. Hill assist and traction control lights come on along with service needed light. Take the car in to be serviced. And I pick the car up with the same issues even though the service team at Southern said the issues was fixed with the service lights. But the sound could not be duplicated. Worst Service Dept ever. I would recommend buying anywhere else even if you have a warranty on your car because I have received absolutely no resolution to the issues with this car even though it’s still fully warranted through LincolnReview from Shannon O

I'm not overly impressed with Southern ford formerly ****. A year and a half ago I bought a vehicle that they currently have for sale. A 2019 Black Ford escape. When I bought it I had a deal with them to check certain things and the transmission was one of those items. Well a year and a half later here I sat needing a new transmission. They offered to put me in another vehicle. So I agreed. Since what they were charging for a transmission and another issue was half of what I still owed. Well Manny the sales manager wouldn't give me much on what I owed although I didn't push I should have asked for alot more since they are the ones that did me wrong initially. So don't trust him he's not there to help you. But luckily Joe the financial guy made it seem not to bad even though the deal was horrible. So Joe and Jared were pleasurable to deal with. Any way I walked out with a new car that is worth ***** and paying ***** for. Worst deal ever. And I warn you to never buy a used vehicle from them. I Wouldnt be surprised if they didn't put a new transmission in my old vehicle but just flushed it out before putting it on the lot And I know they won't tell you it has transmission problems along with balance or alignment with the front tires. They are really something. Again do not buy used you will be paying for something they haven't checked to see if it's reliable and safe. They have the worst service team I have ever dealt with. Good luck!!!Review from Andrew A

I brought my Ford Ranger pick up truck for a simple state inspection. When I drove it there everything was working properly. I received a text saying that my vehicle needed new brake line and the brake light was on and it would cost me ****. I declined and went to pick my vehicle up. I started my vehicle and pressed the brake in order to put the vehicle in gear. The brake went all the way to the floor. I got out to check what was wrong and all the brake fluid had leaked out through a brake line that was not broken prior to me dropping the vehicle off . The following day I confronted the assistant manager and his claim was that it just so happened that the technician hit the brakes and the line burst due to rust. I felt that was not the reason. I felt like I was being scammed. My vehicle was unable to be driven and the only way to get the vehicle roadworthy was to pay the ****. I then spoke to the manager, and he reiterated what the assistant manager had said . He said that the technician just happened to step on the brake, and the line just happened to burst out of pure coincidence. Now the problem is once I declined the repair. No one ever called me to tell me the vehicle was undrivable. They simply stated your vehicle is ready for pick up. It wasn’t until I confronted them that I was told this story. I have used **** **** for many years but this was unacceptable. They stated my vehicle was 23 years old over and over implying that it was due to break and it just by coincidence it happened at their shop. I’m not buying their excuses, it is clearly marked on my paperwork that no video was taken. Red flag! It also says in the paperwork that NO leaks were detected, that’s strange. Another red flag. After being treated like I was a moron because I didn’t believe their BS I decided to get my vehicle and take my business elsewhere. Buyer beware, scam warning.Review from Cherice G

Service received at Hall Ford has been unethical, unprofessional, and has poor business structure. My time and money has been used for capitalism, as I have paid for false, unneeded repairs. I brought my bus to Hall in Mar2022 for simple serving. I sought to receive an inspection, a diagnostic test, an oil change, reverse lights installation, a tune up, change or replace bad wiring, nuts, bolts, or broken studs, and to address my gas tank sensor. Hall was asked to verify if there were any issues. This had to be completed on a diagnostic machine or with a full inspection. I was initially told that the gas issue wasn't a problem that needed immediate attention. The bus is a high milage large vehicle. The proficiency of its performance is due to the upkeep and maintenance. Constantly, I was told that the business was short staffed and unable to tend to my vehicle for months at a time. The final invoice stated that Hall conducted a FULL check of my vehicle. Upon pickup, 10-minutes after leaving, I experienced misfires, panel lights blinking and flashing, stalling, shifting issues, and ultimately, power failure. I called Hall and they sent a tow truck. There wasn't a concern for any panel lights, nor stalling or misfires before rendered service b/c I didn't have such issues. The bus again returned to Hall and sat for another month due to the staffing issues. One week after the second pickup, the bus experienced the same issues resulting in power failure. I called Ford and they initially agreed to send a tow truck, but then denied. Throughout this ordeal, I was told that the issues were, deteriorating wires, front and rear oxygen sensors, coils, inintermittent fuel pump driver module, and more. I serviced the recommendations. I attempted to retrieve the bus for the third time. At pickup, a massive gas leak erupted from the bottom of the bus. Unaware that they previously serviced the fuel pump driver module, it was recommended to fix. Very unprofessional and unfair!Review from Terence W

Worst service by a company I have ever had to deal with . I schedule an appointment with Hall Ford on May 6th @11:00a.m. When I arrived Mike ***** wrote up everything I wanted done to my truck. The main reason I was there was for a state inspection. My truck failed the first attempt at another shop because a light was on showing a seatbelt with an air bag signal on. The main reason I came to Ford because its a ford product. There was no reason to let this shop try to diagnose a problem that they didn't have a clue and charging me a fortune. I thought Ford would know how to fix their own product. Wrong, they didn't have a clue either. I spent seven and a half hour waiting on Ford to resolve this issue to be told They needed to order another part. The part would not be in until May 10th @ 9:00 a.m. That day I had to pay ******* for their diagnostics that didn't work. The light was still on. I return on May 10th to wait two and a half hour to be told this part was not the solution. Mike suggested to me to they could order a seat cushion pad for $ ******** I refused to let these idiots work on my truck anymore .I had to pay another ******* for another mistake Ford made in their so call diagnostics.
