They came out to install 2 sub pumps, and a drainage system under my house, which required a permit to be submitted. P/contact, they charge me ****** for a permit that was never obtained. I have been in contact with inspections office up to date, and nothing have been submitted. I now have water coming through my garage floor, and drywall. But because they never obtain a permit, therefore the inspector can not come out to inspect the work. When I call the company about my issues due to their work. They want to change a ****** serve fee. Even though I never had any of these issues before they do the work . My original issue was never addressed. I called them because there was I crack in my ceiling. Based on their commercials , I assumed that they had knowledge of my issues. Apparently not, when the field manager came out, he put the problem of the builder who built the house 30 years ago , and the rain water coming in. When I explained to him that , this was the issue that your company was supposed to address, he simply said that the first person who wrote the contact, didn't see the problem, although he took pictures. I have paid this company ********* just to have a worst problem then I originally started with.

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/03/18) */ Our notes indicate were initially called out to address 'cracks in ceiling and down the wall'. Our inspection photos indicate there were obvious signs of flooding and standing water in the crawl space. No inspection photos indicate specific concerns about the garage flooding. The scope of work chosen was a 170 ft french drain, 2 sump pumps, the electrical, and all permits included. We completed the scope of work to the customers satisfaction. On our job follow-up call, the customer said we were a 10/10 after the install. The issue that is persisting is well outside the scope of our work. No water is coming into the garage from the crawl space. The water is coming from the outside wall and driveway. The driveway is sloped towards the garage. The garage wood framing is also improperly low to the ground, right at grade, which does not meet building code requirement. Our system is getting the crawl space flood waters away from the home. We even came back and extended her discharge line, free of charge. As for the permits, the electrical permit is the only permit required for the scope of work. Some counties require building permits to pull electrical permits, but no city has any inspection for french drains, because they are not an alteration to the structure. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/03/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I did receive a follow up call but it was to inform me that if I gave them a review that I would receive a free service visit at the value of ******** I never submitted a review because I was still questioning when I would be contacted concerning my inspection. The whole purpose of me contacting the company was to address the issue with the crack in the upstair ceiling. The company never addressed the crack in the upstair ceiling. The salesperson interest was only in the sale of his enclosure project. When I questioned the salesperson about how the enclosure would help the crack in the ceiling, his response was "the crack is not that bad yet." On the day of installation I questioned the electrician about the inspection. The electrician stated that he had submitted the permit to Currituck County. He further stated someone from Currituck County would contact me regarding the submitted permit. I called the company numerous times regarding the inspection and the permit. Each time I spoke to the company they kept advising the permit had been submitted on the date of my calls. I spoke with Chris again on March 7, 2022 and he advised that the problem was with ********* County and he would submit the inspection that day. I contacted Currituck County inspection many times inquiring about the inspection. I spoke with Shannon ***** at phone number :(XXX-XXX-XXXX), she was handling my case personally. Shannon ***** advised an application was never submitted for the permit and the company would need to contact her directly; which they never did. Each time I contacted the company it was regarding another issue I was experiencing as a result of their work. It appears their intend was never to file the required permit but to keep the ******* I paid. Further, I feel targeted and taken advantage of as a single female home owner. Shannon ***** at ********* County inspection stated the permit was never requested by the company and it should have been obtained before any work was performed on my property. Therefore, the work completed by this company was never inspected by ********* County. Additionally, the area they stated was caused by rain water, the damage was actually at the back wall of the garage. The outer sides of the garage are dry. If it was caused by rain water the outsides of the garage floors would have been wet as well. After being lied to by this company for so long I don't know why I expected them to do the right thing.

Refusal to complete a job within scope of work which was paid in full and I, homeowner, was told was complete. After asking for completion of job, I, was given excuses to why it has not been complete. I paid ******* after being told job was completed and found out after asking for photos of completed work that job was not done. After constant recorded calls was hung up on and contract was broken. Today is December 28,2021 and work was started September 29, 2021 while my husband was still home before his deployment. The contract states 60 days of work completion and its now been 91 days and the Contractors continue to push off work without reasonable cause.

Business Response /* (1000, 20, 2022/04/19) */ Statement: The name I have on file for this client is Vercia ****** We have tried multiple times to go out to correct the issue / complete the repair and she refuses to allow us. We simply have 2 floor joists left to repair. They were missed upon the foreman's job completion inspection but caught shortly after. We are willing and able to repair those joists. And... contractually, we are in agreement that "The client shall grant BAY a 90-day right to remedy any problem reported." We have offered and been denied multiple times to complete the repair of these 2 floor joists. We can't remedy the problem, if we're not allowed access to the property. If Mrs. ***** will allow us, we will gladly complete the repair of these 2 floor joists. Consumer Response /* (3000, 22, 2022/04/20) */ They have not tried to come finish the job. The electrical does not come on. There is water leaking under the house. And the joist haven't been completed even though I was told it was. It wasn't until I tried to access the space that I found it not to be done. The humidity and temperatures have reached into the 70's. All calls to the company were recorded and can be accessed. The 90 days has way more than passed to correct any issues. Not to mention the refusal to speak to me because my husband was the one to have signed the contract. I paid for the service which comes with a 25 year warranty that still has not been enforced. They have breached said contract in multiple ways. Business Response /* (4000, 26, 2022/05/21) */ The project only has 2 floor joists left to repair from the original scope of work. Our team wants nothing more than to close out this project by repairing the 2 floors joists. We have availability in our schedule to come out to review any concerns and make any adjustments needed within the scope of work. We have offered multiple times to finish the job but have not been allowed on the property by the customer. The latest status I'm aware of, is Mrs. ***** wanted to meet with our team with her husband and her lawyer. I was agreeable to meeting as suggested at our office. We will not refund any amount for this project because we are willing and able to close out this job once we are permitted to be on the property and it is 98% complete.
