I had an auto loan from this business, which I was initially grateful for because they claim to be friendly to military members. I experienced no problems with them while still active duty and living in the Hampton Roads area. When I was relocated, and eventually got out of the service, this bank became HORRIBLE to deal with. They never answer the phone. The person working in the loan department, Travis *, is extremely unkind, vindictive, arrogant, and sarcastic. He will take his time to respond to emails and is very unhelpful when he does. They are extremely slow to do anything for you as a customer. If you request payment deferment, they don’t get to it in a timely manner like a larger bank would. And then they will tell you that you missed a deadline (despite them dragging their tail) so your payment is due regardless of your attempt to rectify the situation. My car was repossessed even though I made a payment to attempt to get current. They don’t even have a proper title format to present to DMVs outside of VA. This bank needs to be investigated for their failure to serve customer needs. I do NOT recommend anyone to this company. Deplorable service. Awful employees.Review from Chyna B

They need to be investigated, I’ve been banking here for 20 plus yrs & they are just horrible. I was told by the branch manager she wasn’t going to give me her managers number for my complaints, they take monthly fees out of savings account, tell you can’t get papers notarized unless you have a certain amount in your account, don’t do savings bonds, rude to customers. & when I asked the supervisor why don’t they update or tell customers about changes she said “it’s online” so I said what if I don’t have a phone or was older she said she didn’t care it’s online on there web page.
