If I could give it 0 stars I would. Just before Labor Day weekend I went to transfer funds to my online account because my bills were due, I happened to get locked out of my account and the website error message instructed me to call the branch to get it resolved. So when I called on that following Tuesday(3 days later) to get some assistance with unlocking my account I called 20 times before I was able to reach someone in the loan department. As I complained about the service The loan specialist told me that they were short staffed because the manager only had 3 people scheduled on the day after the holiday. The employee then tells me they only had 7 employees that stayed after they hired a new CEO so The employee offered to call me back in the next hour. An hour passed, I received a phone call and as soon as I answered the call the person from CUOR hung up in my face. They called a second time and hung up in my face again. I just need one issue resolved and Im left feeling like I have to beg them for basic customer service. I have been with them for 10 years and it has been so bad since the last CEO retired. They dont care about servicing the customers anymore. Just last month I got into a spar with the new manager over him requesting that I come up to the branch so he can make a copy of my ID because he didnt believe it was me on the phone. I have never heard of that ever, I have never dealt with this kind of difficulty from any bank other banks will ask for my security code not a copy of my ID. This has been the worse 5 months of my life banking with credit Union of Richmond. I will be closing my account soon.
