Hello,I have a complaint stemming from a crawlspace pest control inspection performed in August 2024. I was told I had moisture in the crawlspace and that I could purchase a bora care treatment for $1100 to help with this. I did and a few days later I was told I need another treatment for $3300. I asked why I paid $1100 for a treatment for moisture found if they saw additional issues during their crawlspace inspection. I asked for a quote in writing and never received it. I asked for a call from management and heard from one manager who never called back. I escalated this to regional management and finally reached someone who plans to check my crawlspace again. I posted a review last week about this mistakenly thinking it would open a complaint. I would like BBB's involvement to help with a fair resolution. I don't believe I needed to pay $1100 for a treatment of a product that sells online for less than $100. I had crawlspace work performed last year and the technician commended me for the crawlspace work. Thanks! ****** *****Business response

I have used Home Paramount for several years and was tiring of their attempts to sell a variety of services on every yearly inspection (UV lights, claims of rodents with no visible evidence of droppings etc). This year I set up an inspection date for the middle of March. I stayed home all afternoon and no one showed up. I waited for several days the next week expecting a call and apology and received nothing. When I called them they were totally unaware that no one ever showed. This complete lack of courtesy and awareness led me to cancel my just renewed contract that stared in March and ask for a refund. I was told that was management decision. I have not received a credit or refund even though I did say that I would understand if it was pro-rated for the one or two weeks in which the new contract began. I sent this complaint several weeks ago to the BBB and heard nothing. I am sending this again hoping to hear back this time.***************Business response

A representative has reached out on 7/17/23 and spoke to Mr. ****** regarding his request of refund $130 for 2022-2023 Termite renewal.
The refund is being completed within 30 days. Once the check of $130 is ready to be mailed, we will contact again to announce the mailing of the check.
