I purchased a shed to turn into in law suite for my mother to live to keep her out of a nursing home..I ordered it paid 750.00 deposit, they said it was 8-10 weeks out on build..Then I started recieving bills for monthly payments, I thought it was strange since it had not been built yet..Made the payment of 316.00 anyway..Well my mom took a turn for the worse..So I contacted him through messenger to cancel weeks before build was started..They went a head and built it anyway, and then refused to give back my deposit...But as I noted I needed my money back because I needed to bye her a wheel chair. They bribed me with 300 dollars to bye my mom a wheel chair....300 doesnt equal 1100..They then turned around and resold shed and got all there money plus mine.Business response

Good morning! I’m sorry I had not seen your emails! I’m aware of this complaint and tried to work with this dear lady to resolve the issue. This contract was through a rental company with policies that we have no control over. When the customer asked about canceling her building I sent her a copy of their cancellation policy outlining the costs she would incur if she cancels. The cancellation policy is the deposit plus the first months rent, which is exactly what she had paid. She did not reply to verify her desire to cancel. We went ahead and built the building with no further word from the customer regarding their desire to cancel until delivery was being scheduled. Out of my care for her issue I personally sent her a check for 300.00. I work as sales manager for Yoders Quality Buildings. I also own an outdoor furniture company called ***** ************. The check was written from ***** ************. It was not a bribe but only to show my care for her in her situation. If there is anything further that I should do, please let me know.
