Dropped of my ***** **** Easy Start Rotor Tiller on 04/25/22 for service, paid a deposit of $49.00 and was advised that I would be contacted when the the Rotor Tiller was ready. The Repair Invoice# ****** is dated 04/25/22.Was advised that the service would take 4-6 weeks due to backlog and that I would be contacted when it was ready for pickup. Visited in early May 2022 and was advised that it was not ready. Due to COVID 19, my age, and reported positive readings as late as February 2023, my follow up outside visits to Companies such Virginia Outdoor Power were only resumed in late March 2023. Having heard nothing, I revisited the store on Wednesday , 13 April 2023 to check on status as was told that I would be contacted by Friday 14 April 2023. Again having heard nothing, I visited again on Monday 17 April 2023 and was given the following phone number ************ and on today , 20 April 2023 was told that my Rotor Tiller has been disposed of as "abandoned property" because I could not be contacted by phone. I indicated that my email contact was also recorded on the Repair Invoice and If I could not be reached by phone, why did I not receive and email. I was "admonished" that the disposal was my fault because I did not follow up on the status and the Company had no responsibility.
