Nova Perio Specialists billed me $88 for a limited oral evaluation on 1/18/2022 that did not occur. I did not receive any services or treatment from Nova Perio Specialists on 1/18/2022. On this date, I filed a complaint with Dr. ********************* Kharmoche, the owner of Nova Perio Specialists, regarding services conducted on 1/14/2022. This complaint is for a billing dispute. The $88 charge is fraudulent; there were no services provided on 1/18/2022. I am requesting the $88 charge dated 1/18/2022 be removed immediately from my account.Business response

Hello *** ******,
I am trying to reach you regarding Case # ********.
The email I became aware of on 8/3/22 stated that there were multiple attempts to reach me. I apologize, but I was not aware of any previous notices.
In regard to the patient in question and her statement, please accept my response.
After a surgical procedure, which was done by a different Doctor, at a different location, the patient was seen in our Leeburg office by Dr. K********* on 1/18/2022, per her request.
The visit was a Limited Evaluation (which does have a fee) because she was never seen at this location or by Dr. K********* before.
Post surgical visits are always with the Doctor who performed the procedure.
She insisted on seeing Dr. K********* ,and we accommodated her request.
Dr. K********* did examine her, and prescribed additional medication.
She also returned for 2 more appointments (1/26/22, 2/9/22) with Dr. K*********, which she was not charged for.
We also wrote-off the 88.00 fee on 5/3/22 for the 1/18/22 visit, which is a credit on her account.
